Better identify an ETFs sector and if it is contra or leveraged
I see no use to listing ETFs by sponsor. But there is serious need to identify Contra ETS and Leveraged ETS and hopefully a means of identifying (locating) ETFs by Sector and /Industry… VV provides excellent research capability for selecting Sector and Industry trends for ETF guidance, but does not follow thru with ETF selection capability… I do not have ability to counsel on categorizing ETFs but I know that present listing by sponsor is useless to me… Richard (Dick( Bradley, Nashville, TN
We now have WatchLists for Non-Leveraged ETFs – Contra and Regular, as well as Leveraged ETFs – Contra and Regular.

Short ETF (contra) need to have sector and industry in your listing in viewers so they can be matched to non contra ETFs. Talk to your service provider to provide this data or assign someone in VV to go to detail Stock analysis and input data so your subscribers do not have to do this laborious task. We pay a lot of $$ for data - you should make sure it is correct and useful.

I would like to see a watchlist of contra ETFs for the Canadian market since we are not allowed to use short selling in our retierment savings accounts.

There's no limit to variety of ETF's (more coming every week) Highlight any ETF and click on "Analysis" tab and you have all info available right there, on screen... Dick Bradley - Nashville

There is a need to better refine the ETF selection process that identifies those ETF's that are outperforming thier sector

I agree that listing ETF's by sponsor is not useful.

I would recommend separating ETFs into groups:
3x leveraged
2x leveraged
3x contra
2x contra
non leveraged bullish
non leveraged contras -

This would be good. Now I have to copy the ETF symbol and go outside VectorVest to see if or how leveraged the ETF is.
