Earnings Release Date Markers is a must have for VV, Also price alerts. all other platforms offer some for free.I think would be great addition to VVs already awesome platform.

This is a very good improvement request. Please add this feature in VV7 & VV6 as this will be very useful in taking decision prior to results declaration.

I like this idea. Can we also include a marker that indicates what date my stock was purchased on (if I already hold it in one of my portfolios).

I like to have the option(!) to be informed via email in advanced (e.g. 1-5 days in advance) if there is an earning announcement for a stock in a watch-list (this feature could be assigned to a portfolio -- e.g. my actively traded stocks -- then I don't have to assign this attribute for each stock in the list)
Also next earning announcement date should also be within the Viewer tab (or at least I should have to option to include it as a column within the table)
I have VV7 and it is 4 years+ since it was planned to add this feature == I would appreciate an update on this ...

Harland Hendrickson - Before making a trade, I'd like to know the date the next Dividend might be paid. I don't like dividends, so I'd buy something else. It needs to be easy to access this information from any Watch List for stocks and ETFs.

I just posted an idea which is same as this one ...sorry. This should be an easy mod. Use the same "flag system" software architecture as already exists for 'ex-div' and 'payment' flags and extend it to earnings reporting days. All the action happens on earnings report days !!!!!!

If difficulty of showing future earnings, the use of flagging earnings from the past would be useful. Put it right on the graph like you do div

Earnings markers on the graph views will be the most significant feature added since I became a member. Way past due! Can't wait to see this feature added.

Upcoming earnings date and the ability to perform a Uniseach would be great. Example: find stocks with earnings 1-2 weeks away from time of current search.

I echo the comments of previous customers. Having the earnings markers on the graph layout would be more useful than the Dividend markers. Many stocks move dramtically just prior to or after earnings announcements. I look forward to having this soon. Also, if the earnings dates are tracked like the C/up and other dates in the back tester, there might be trading opportunities if one targets stocks that move around earnings dates.

It would be great to have earnings markers on the graph views in Protrader to study historic behaviour of stocks around earning dates. This would facilitate search of candidates for straddles. A number of charting tools facilitate this.

It would be very useful to have the same tools for earnings as we have for dividends i.e. Earnings Viewer (that can be filtered on watchlist), Earnings date field (that can be used in searches) and Earnings marker for graph.

You have so many vaualble informstion like volume, price...... but I am missing Earning dates when a company is going to broadcast their earnings. S many times I have bought good stocks using Vector Vest but lost money because of the earning announcement. Thank you in advance,
