Add " Upper Bollinger Band exceeded -SELL " signal .
VV does not seem to give much assistance in taking profits. It gives "sells" always on falling stock prices , which is exactly the opposite you want to do !! It gives a STOP (loss) , which I agree with. A simple and effective "take profits" signal is when all the daily price action is outside the upper BB. A classic example was LCM.AX on Oct 22 2013. There is also a case for "buy" where an upward trending stock falls below the lower BB, but I personally find that signal a bit hard to define. But the "sell" if price exceeds the upper BB occurs often and is a very reliable signal. I find a daily chart with 3 month period to be "just right".
