  1. Need a Way to create search with MACD readings other than just crossover

    Squeeze Formation: Attached is a screen shot of a chart from my Tradestation charting program, showing what is called the "Squeeze Formation." It is a bullish formation with the MACD and ADX where the MACD is on top and the ADX on the bottom. When these two diverge with MACD rising and ADX falling for 3 days, statistically, better than 80% of the time the stock has a significant bullish move within the next 3-5 days.   7. Pro Trader for Industry Group

    Currently Pro Trader option is not available for Industries ? It would be very help to identify industries using Pro Trader operators. eg Industry price Xing over Moving averages OR ADX crossing for an Industry OR EMA crossing. Any plans of adding ProTrader for Industry groups ?

  8. Seasonality

    I would like for VV to chart the previous 10 years data (if available) and show the average as a Seasonality line for the previous 6 months and the future 6 months. Many stocks and industries have Seasonality and VV already has the data to show this.
    This would be a great asset to VectorVest.

    The Chandelier Stop is a trailing stop that is based on the volatility of the market. It has been successfully used and recommended by a number of traders, including Chuck LeBeau, for trend-following systems. The equations for the Chandelier Stop (CS) indicator recently incorporated into the FT Program are as follows:

    If Long: CS=HH-FactorEMA(Range, Length)
    If Short: CS=LL+Factor    EMA(Range,Length)

  12. Pro Trader Moving Average SELL

    Hi

    I subscribed to Pro trader and I am also running Auto Timer for Back Testing I was a little surprised that I could not program in a moving average cross over for a sell this is what I really wanted for Swing Trading especially.

    I have used 3 moving averages for a Buy in my system however I cannot set the system up for a cross over to sell with moving averages within a Uni Search and Backtesting.

  14. UniSearch ProTrader - Support & Resistance

    Make UniSearch Support/Resistance flexible. Currently 300 bars fixed and no ability to use hi/low range vs end of day. Able to made these adjustments in Graphs but not UniSearch.

  20. Protrader search tool: the ability to produce a Weekly MA crossover search

    Please can you provide the facility for us to do Pro Trader searches on Weekly charts. For example I want to produce a list of stocks when the 20 Week MA crosses the 40 Week MA. Frankly I am gobsmacked, having paid $499 for ProTrader that I can't do that
