  1. Whole shares (not fractional) enter t Portfolio

    When entering a trade in Portfolio, whole # of shares are entered. Yet when asked to confirm the trade the # of shares is displayed with 3 decimal places. This is confusing. It can be clarified by having the code such that 'If fractional shares are entered in the Quantity field, then display fractional shares in the Confirm -- Otherwise only display whole # of shares'

  3. Display "Trailing Stop" price in VV7 portfolios & have column heading in Layout available like VV6

    In VV6 Portfolios there is the ability to add the column "Trailing Stop" which shows the dollar amount. Can we add this feature to VV7 portfolios as well?

  4. Add Call Buyback choice in Portfolio Manager

    You can add an option premium in Portfolio Manager but there is no choice to buyback the call,i.e.,deduct the premium received and then sum. Currently, I have to use "Withdraw Cash" which does'nt accurately describe the transaction.

  5. Allow Exchange Processing Fee to be entered when I sell a stock I track in my portfolio

    I like to track my portfolios to the penny and when entering a sale there is no field to enter the exchange processing fee so I have to add the commission back to the total and divide and even then sometimes can't get the number right without tweaking the commission on odd lots.

  8. Need ability to set different exit strategies within one Portfolio in VV7.

    Current software allows only one exit strategy per portfolio forcing us to establish separate portfolios for one ... real time or actual portfolio.

  10. Portfolio allowing Stop management from a previous starting date

    In the VectorVest 6 platform you can create Portfolios which start back in time having your selected stop management criteria put in before you open any positions. The VectorVest 7 platform however has no ability to do this. It would be advantegous for old VV 6 users who are now using the VV 7 platform using Portfolios to have the same template as previously.

  11. more flexibility in stop criteria

    mix and match stop criteria such as '=S or loss > 15% or RT trending down x days' etc. Just be able to create custom stop criteria based on currently available data.

    Fixed percentage per stock selected ; fixed dollar amount per stock selected or fixed number of shares per trade.

  17. Group 2010 Model Portfolios together by 2010 Subfolder or rename with 2010 at start of name

    VV is displaying 4 different portfolio styles in 2010. Could you create a "2010 SubFolder" for the 4 strategies for this year. OR - could you rename the 4 Strategies to start with "2010" so you can more quickly find them on the list.

    The reason for this request, is that on a daily basis, it is somewhat anoying to hunt and pick and find the 4 strategies for 2010 on the list that includes all the Riding the Wave portfolios from previous years. When there was just a Riding the Wave portfolio for 2010, that was easy enough, but…

  18. Add a stop for Rec=B on long positions

    There is no =B stop criteria in the portfolio manager when setting on a long purchase. When bottom fishing with all Sell reconditions, you should be able to put a stop at =B to sell off those stocks.

    Create new model portfolios based on trading strategies and types: conservative, prudent, aggressive, dividends, etc.
