I would like to suggest a stratagy which finds desending triagles. I think this would be a very sucesful long statagy.
I would like to suggest a strategy which finds assending triangles. This would be a very succesful long strategy. When candlesticks break thru the trend line they tend to run for a period of time.

Moving Av line
Add the capability to show the following:
when less than 20% of stocks in the VVC are trading above their 200-day MAV,
less than 10% are trading above their 50-day MAV, and
less than 10% are trading above their 20-day MAV.When that occurs, it is a sign that the market is deeply oversold and will rally strongly.

Moving Average priod
Add the capability to double click on the price MA to select a moving avg period i.e. 50, 200 etc instead of having to use the scroll arrows that move the look back period on day at a time.

Try to Maintain <condition> for Backtested Portfolio
The Backtester already has the ability to "maintain <n> positions."
I am suggesting that the test may also be configured to maintain some (one) measure at the time of making a purchase decision.
Example: "Try to maintain RV > 1.00"
Sometimes, it is correct to buy-in to a stock with RV < 1. But, the prudent investor needs to avoid collecting too many RV<1. The portfolio should be evaluated as a whole (I know the concept of viewing the average of the portfolio can be found in presentations).

Additional exit strategy
Add an exit strategy which would use a fixed % gain with a trailing stop loss. This would allow exiting a position that went up and turned around before it lost very much.

Add multiple stock tickers.
Allow for a unisearch or a watchlist to be turned into a stock ticker. One single stock ticker is too difficult to watch.

Home Page needs a major upgrade.
Allow for adding watchlists, unisearch, portfolio onto home page. Allow for adding a direct one click to strategy. Allow for deleting quick start videos beside alerts. Allow for Alerts to alert on changes to watchlist or unisearch values without having to create a portfolio first.

Need further look back time than 10 days
The S&P 500 has been in an uptrend for 8 weeks now but Vectorvest still has a C-DN. On June 4, 2012 the S&P 500 hit a low of 1266 and on July 27, 2012 it closed at 1385, a gain of 119 points. This does not make any sense. Price action trumps all and an 8 week rally with a gain of 119 points is nothing to sneeze at. A look at weekly and monthly price data would improve results.
