  1. Ability to right click on a drawn item and delete the menu or click on it and use the delete key to delete it. The way it is now, if I put one object in the right place, I have to delete all of them and start over. I won't be using the product for long before I become frustrated and go somewhere else to do charting.

"Clear" should be "Delete All" and a prompt to comfirm.

Fibonacci is difficult to use and only has canned values. Not possible to delete it using Clear or any other means.

Thanks for your feedback on graphing. It’s one of the most important tools in the VectorVest system, and we’re investing heavily to get it right. Our focus is on making graphs intuitive for newer users while still powerful enough to support deeper analysis as investors grow. Your input helps ensure we’re building a tool that truly supports smarter, more confident decision-making.

  2. I'm not sure if this was already mentioned but having Top RT Industries and Top RT Sectors to have a view of the market.

Thank you for this feedback, and yes, Robert is on the right track. This first tier is really intended to help users new to VectorVest to learn the system, and to appeal to users who really just want this base level of prudent guidance and doesn't want to dig into deeper data. The next tier, which in currently being designed, will have a home page that will be much more familiar to those who are experienced with VectorVest 7. Feedback like yours will help greatly in building that tier to something that experienced users like you are going to love. It will also be helpful to hear from you about what was most helpful for you when you were a new user. What was most helpful when learning the system and what turned you from a new user into the power user you are today. Thanks!

  3. Enhanced Graph Viewing for Efficiency: It is highly recommended to display the full-featured graph—including all settings—directly in the right panel. The graph should be resizable, enabling users to efficiently view one stock after another without navigating to a separate Full Graph page and then returning each time.

  5. Heikin Ashi Candles would be a good addition. The Heikin Ashi Strategy works very well with VWAP as it provides a good visual of trending price action. Combined with VWAP a very powerful tool for entering and exiting trades at technically determined set ups with profit and loss targets

  6. Definitely need more custom controls on the Home Screen

I want to see the MAG7 and my stocks right on the home screen

Having the news on the stocks is excellent

We need the VVC graph right on the home screen as well as the MTI

    Thanks for the thoughtful feedback!

We absolutely agree that the MAG7, personal stocks, the VVC, MTI, and stock-specific news are important. These elements are all on our roadmap to bring into the Home screen in future phases.

For now, we’ve intentionally kept the Home experience focused and simplified to better support newer users of VectorVest. Research showed that too much information upfront can overwhelm users who are still learning the basics of the system.

That said, we’re actively exploring ways to let more experienced users customize their Home screen. If you have thoughts on how you’d like to organize or prioritize this information, we’d love to hear them! Your insight helps shape how and when we reintroduce advanced controls.

  7. Could we add the ability to import individual stocks or entire lists from watchlists, and searches into a portfolio for ease of tracking and use of the Beta system.

  8. In the right column I have no clue what the pw column is. Maybe it's a result of too many acronyms, or I'm missing something. As this isn't clear to me - I might not be the only one. Also this column may or may not be really important/useful.

Hey Gil, thanks for the feedback. We put a breakdown of all of the columns in the Advanced Market Timing section behind the button above the table. The one labeled "How to Review Advanced Market Timing. What do these indicators mean?"

Was that button too hidden? Did you not think it would have the answers to your questions in there? We are trying to supply the answers to users' questions as they have them, without being too 'in your face' with the way we handle it, any feedback you could give about this would be great. Thanks!

  9. Upper right corner bell. When opened, is says "Mark All as Read" and does nothing. Also, clicking on the notification doesn't do anything - it should go to where the alert was set.

  10. When adding any icon / arrow to a chart, the "eraser" button does not erase ie partially delete the object, it directly deletes. Rename to "Delete" as the icon is an Eraser.

  14. I added VWAP to the graph, which was then added to the sidebar. I deleted the VWAP parameter and the sidebar did not update until I clicked on the eye icon for VWAP in the sidebar.

  15. "HEED THE COLOR GUARD" . . . Color guard needs to be on the opening page with values showing. How does the little bar chart on the first page help us to select stocks? It is just history. .....Cute but of no real value. It just takes up space

    • Graphs functionality works intuitive and has good performance. I also like that the VectorVest indicators are shown in a single graph window.
    • Some suggestions for further improvement:
      • Add possibility to enter a custom value for the period of Moving averages or if not possible extend option list to include most used.
      • Removal of parameters can currently only be done in the graph and would be good to also allow it in the parameter panel itself.
      • The information panel has a bug for the VectorVest indicators and says “Stock has an RV of NaN” (Not a Number) instead of showing the…

  16. Overall navigation for watchlists works fine with very good performance. Creating a new watchlist and editing existing is very straightforward.

Hereby some suggestions for further optimization of watchlist functionality:
    - Would be good to add the functionality to group watchlists in folders
    - The view settings of visible watchlists per page gets reset to default every time you navigate away and would be nice if the last selected number of watchlists per page is saved
    - When viewing the stocks within a watchlist, the my watchlists pane is visible all the time and consumes space (especially on a small laptop…

Thank you for your detailed feedback on the Watchlists experience, this is exactly the kind of insight that helps us prioritize improvements effectively.

We’re glad to hear that creating and editing Watchlists feels intuitive and responsive. That’s a key part of our goal to make core workflows feel effortless, especially for newer users.

Your suggestions for further optimization are all well taken:

    • Folder/grouping support is a commonly requested enhancement. We removed it to speed up development time as this tier is intended for users new to VectorVest. We have a solution designed that will be in the next tier, which is intended to be the flagship program, closer to VV7.
    • Persisting view settings (like the number of Watchlists per page) is a great quality-of-life improvement—we’ll review this as part of broader session memory efforts.
    • The point about the persistent Watchlists pane on small screens is especially helpful. We've heard this…
  17. • Good to have as an add -in to the current display to complement what is already there; the current Color Guard, and Market Timing are quite informative as they
    • Perhaps the new display can be added on the side of the current color guard display from where we can click to access the rest of that system.
    • The When to Buy guideline quickly and easily helps see the best action to take, particularly for new users, and again, would be great as an add-in
    • Nice transition to the What to Buy display, as long as users…

Thank you for your thoughtful feedback on the Market Timing experience in the web app beta. It’s clear you’ve spent time with both platforms, and we truly appreciate your detailed perspective.

You're absolutely right, the Color Guard and Market Timing tools in VV7 are powerful and informative, and your idea to integrate the new design alongside those tools is well noted. Many of the decisions in this first tier were made intentionally to make the VectorVest system easier to learn for users who are new to our methodology, even if they have experience investing elsewhere.

This initial tier is focused on guiding users through “When to Buy, What to Buy, and When to Sell” using a simplified layout that supports onboarding and confidence-building. But we want to reassure you that none of the advanced capabilities you know and love from VV7 are going away, they're simply being…

Thanks for the feedback, it’s great to hear that you're finding value in the included VectorVest Searches. You’re absolutely right that being able to access your own custom searches is important, especially for more experienced users.

In this first tier of the web app, we’ve focused on providing a curated set of searches to help new VectorVest users learn the system more easily. That said, your custom searches will absolutely be available in Tier 2, where we’ll begin reintroducing the full power and flexibility that advanced users like you are used to, including tools already available in the mobile app.

We appreciate your patience as we continue to roll out the full experience. Your feedback helps ensure we bring back the right tools at the right time.

  19. You can use all the indicators you want but basically for a stock to go up you need more buyers than sellers and visa versa, I'd like to see a chart that either during the day or at end of day monitors no of buyers and volume against no of sellers and volume. Allow the selection of how many levels and maybe a calculation between no and volume to determine on average if the levels have small or large parcels. e.g. 6 buyers volume 120 so average parcel is 20 shares.
