Beginner view: the graph time indicators of 1d to 1 yr. when selected make the choice a deep color right now it does not jump out.
The addition of different time lines for graphs is great, however when selected the highlighted choice does not really jump out. So suggest making it bolder or a different colour when selected. ( minor change) . ( contrast becomes an issue in older eyes)

Make the time line darker, it does not appear when opening a graph unless you mouse over it & date line appears.
Looking from beginner view: the graph is overwhelming. the VV graphs were amazing. The time line is very weak and it does not appear until you mouse over it, then the date line appears at bottom of graph. Make the time line more prominent with a stronger colour. Perhaps the date line at the bottom should appear on opening the graph.

Charting and look of Beta
I am big fan of VV7 the way it is when you compare to all charting software out there. Why try to change something that is very good to be the same as all the other companies that use TRADINGVIEW. I find that charting and feel of the layout in Vectorvest made it the easiest to use and manipulate. why change it?

Thank you for sharing this, your appreciation for the charting experience in VV7 really comes through, and it means a lot to hear how strongly you value what makes VectorVest unique.
You’re absolutely right that VV7’s charting stands apart, especially in terms of clarity, control, and how naturally it supports technical analysis without feeling overwhelming. That experience is something we’re proud of, and we’re not looking to abandon it.
In the beta web app, some visual and layout changes are intentional to simplify the platform for new users and support a smoother onboarding experience. But you’re not alone: we’ve heard from other long-time users who want to make sure the flexibility and power of VV7-style charting stays intact.
Rest assured—we’re not trying to become TradingView. Our goal is to teach the VectorVest fundamentals with a clean, approachable UI first, and then bring back the advanced features and charting depth…

performance
In the different searches, new feature of "performance" is available. I like it, but it does not specify the number of stocks in the different time performance graph. Would also be nice to select the top "x" of the search

when to sell
In the landing screen when to buy gets yo some useful searches which is great.
In the same screen when to sell gets you no searches, but just a brief tutorial on stop loss. Let me suggest that when to sell will have some short selling ideas.2 votesThanks for the thoughtful suggestion!
You’re right to point out the difference between the “When to Buy” and “When to Sell” experiences. This is intentional, at least at this foundational tier, where we prioritize prudent guidance focused on using stop prices to manage downside risk. Our research shows that many newer VectorVest users are still building confidence with the system, and introducing more aggressive tactics like short selling too early can increase complexity and anxiety, which we aim to minimize at this stage.
That said, your suggestion aligns well with how we envision expanding guidance in higher tiers. As users grow in confidence and skill, we plan to introduce access to more advanced strategies, including shorting, contra ETFs, and other techniques suited for downturns. These will be driven by more assertive systems and backed by education to help users apply them effectively without being overwhelmed.
We’d love to learn more…

My Portfolios should be available in a separate list from VectorVest Portfolios
Would be nice to see without having to scroll through the entire list including VV

Near Perfect Indicator
Either add the Near Perfect Indicator (RT5 and RT40) so that we can use this heavily promoted VV measure or give the user the ability to create an RT5 and RT40. Thanks for considering.

Page size and navigation arrows in Portfolios
The "Page size" and the "back" and "forward" navigation arrows do not seem to be working in Portfolios view. In Watchlist view I do not have the same issue.

"market timing"
Market timing signals cannot be shown on graph or not obvious how to do this. The Home screen does not show the current market timing signal (current C/Dn for example) or is not obvious how to see them.

Why is it "Safe to Buy" when there is a C/Dn signal?
Why is there a "Safe to Buy" signal when there is a C/Dn? The guidance should take the market timing signals into consideration and not what the market is doing from one day to the next.

Advanced Market Timing Needs Fixing. Today 10/10 was a down price day and the AMT displays price as Orange with sideways rit pointing arrow.
Make sure that AMT output reflects real world as rudimentary exception test

BUILD A STOCK SEARCH USING THE JOHN CARTER TTM TRADING SYSTEM
IT WOULD BE VERY HELPFUL IN DETERMING WHEN A STOCK IS ABOUT TO BREAK OUT OR BREAK DOWN. THE SYSTEM SI FOUND IN THE STOCK CHARTS SOFTWARE AS WELL AS IN THE THINK OR SWIM SOFTWARE THAT IS AVAILABLE IN MANY STOCK TRADING PLATFORMS.

Stop Values
I can't locate any ability to set the stop values for portfolio stocks. Even the most basic VV process includes the necessity for setting a stop at the time of purchase and providing a method for displaying the stop in a portfolio report and stock graph.
