We are planning on adding these Market Timing conditions to BackTester soon.
Erik Laridon supported this idea ·An error occurred while saving the comment Erik Laridon commentedI agree, it would be great to have an OR...OR condition for stops in Backtesting (and Portfolio Genius): e.g. sell when OR "Close Price below half of the profit (when max. profit has reached a certain amount) " OR "REC = Sell"

Better to use space between 000 000
or use only the first significant numbers and add K(for thousands) and M (for millions)Better even: VV should use the Preferred formats that the user has selected in Windows. This is particularly of interest for date formats! (cfr. Comment from Ron Ingram)

An error occurred while saving the comment Erik Laridon commentedI don't like the current layout of the list of holdings in a selected portfolio:
- too much wasted space ( more holdings can be put on one screen if less space is used for each)
- on the left it mentions the number of shares @ xxx: but it is not clear what xxx means! It would be better to mention the purchase price and current price (and label the values accordingly to avoid confusion). The number of shares is irrelevant. The total value is more important (see next point)
- on the right is a value: again, what does this value mean? It would be better to give the purchased value AND the current value (and label both the values accordingly )Erik Laridon supported this idea ·Erik Laridon shared this idea · -

An error occurred while saving the comment Erik Laridon commentedWhat is the order of the holdings listed in each of the portfolios? I have no clue.
Would be nice to be able to select the order in which the holdings appear:
- invested value
- current value
- % gain/loss
- RT

An error occurred while saving the comment Erik Laridon commentedI don't think we need a copy of the VV program on our phones. We only need something that gives us the most needed information on a daily basis. Backtesting is not something you do all the time. The App on the phone should not be too 'overloaded' because it will slow things down and make it more complex to use (more clicks to finally get to what you want).
That's just my opinion... -
