A histogram rather than a line on vv7 similar to the macd indicate obv
The OBV coveys critical data for day trading. The line representation now on VV7 charts is very inadequate in conveying this data. A histogram similar to the MACD would make this indicator useable. Thank you

edit graph name
2013.08.22 add edit function to graph names.
Now user must "RENAME" file in order to edit graph saved.
At least add ability to use standard windows editing functions; like copy & paste to renaming instead of having to retype new file name when you make a mistake/typo. and then delete old incorrect file name.2 votes -
color change for dates & prices using WHITE background color
2013.08.22 when viewing a VV graph with background color iWHITE, the stock prices on right and dates on bottom are in very LIGHT GREY..
Suggest change both to either DARK GREY or black so the contrast level is higher and EASIER TO READ FOR OLDER PEOPLE (seasoned citizens) WHO WEAR BIFOCALS,
Thank you.2 votes -

mass index -add to graph and unisearch
I would like to see the mass index added to the technical analysis tools as well as the ability to do searches using unisearch. Here is a great article about the tool - http://www.forbes.com/sites/tomaspray/2013/09/07/power-your-portfolio-with-the-mass-index/

Save Graph MultiView Layouts
Every time I open VV 7, I have to redo the layout for the timing graphs. I set up 4 graphs in different timeframes. It would be nice if these settings were saved when it shut down. Unless I am missing something, there is nowhere to save a grid which contains multiple graphs in one screen layout such as this (some broker trading platforms allow for this and it would be nice if VV 7 did as well).

Add the Drawdown as a Parameter available in the VectorVest Fields
Add the Drawdown as a new Parameter available in the VectorVest Fields. This feature available in any Backtest, would allow - if applied to a stock graph - to quickly identify stocks with small losses during a particular time frame.

Have in the charts the Heikin-Ashi candlesticks
In particular the Heikin-Ashi range candlesticks. They are the smoothest for viewing trends.

Make background numbers on right side of charts more white so the vertical scale can be better seen.

Use different symbol for Kicker Calls on Graphs
At present VectorVest is using solid triangles (Red and Green) for Green Light buyer, Confirm Up/Down Call and GLB/RT Kicker calls. There is no differentiation between these calls. My suggestion is to use a hollow triangle (thick border) with bullet point inside for GLB/RT Kicker call, and a just a hollow green triangle for Green Light Buyer.

Pick from the list of graphed stocks after a graph all
After creating a graph of stocks from the "Graph All" button, the only way to go through the stocks is to use the scroll bar. This makes it very difficult to look through the stocks if you want to jump to a specific stock.
I would like at a minimum to be able to drop down a list of stocks available in the graph list to be able to jump directly to that stock. Aditionally it would be great to have other improvements to the navigation such as the ability to resort.
