  1. Make Custom Field Builder and ProTrader field builder work on Industries and Sectors for Unisearch scans the same way they alreayd work on stocks only so we can build custom "return sectors, return industries" custom field searches and custom ProTrader searches/unisearch scans on a industry or sector level instead of just stocks. I'd at least like to be abel to scan industries for a Price <40MA one day ago and >40MA today, or do a custom field MA of RT on industries or sectors as part of my scan process rather than having to graph them all just to pick…

  2. When a significant event happens such as a stock rapidly climbing up or down, there should be a news flash. For example, Lihir Gold Ltd. climbed up 26% last Thursday; also some company went under chapter11 and its stock dived down by 40%.

  3. Currently the operators are very limited. For serious technical traders being able to write an operator to find, e.g. the type of stochastic or CCI or MACD indication I want, not just a few canned ones, is imperative to a fully functional system.

  6. What I would like to see is the ability to search for stocks / industries / sectors that perform well during certain time frames. For example, some stocks / industries do very well during the christmas season. Knowing which ones could help users ride seasonality trends.

  8. Example:

Date of Search, 13d MA (Price) > 1 day ago 13d MA (Price) [ to ensure 13d MA price slope is positive]

    or

Date of Search, 13d MA (Price) = 1 day ago 13d MA (Price) [ to determine slope = 0 of MA, an inflection point]

Allowing this would enable the identification of major changes in trends

  9. I would like to know what the institutions are buying/selling by being able to track buy/sell lots of say 5,000 or 10,000. Volume tells activity but does not in any way indicate who is creating the activity.

  10. Presently, once a custom moving average is created, it is "greyed" out, and no mathmatical operations can be performed. Correspondingly, a simple operation of comparing two moving averages to some scalar value other than 1.0 cannot be performed. To wit:

    Date of Search, 13d MA (Price) / 8d MA (Price) < 2.0

    is not a possible search.

  15. It would be very useful to have as a separate indicator the bandwidth of the Bollinger Band. That way we could search for squeezes.

  18. I have used this wonderful tool incorporated elsewhere and it is very useful. It is called ADR (Don't know what it stands for ) . It is a number that represents the gap in % between the high and low of the day for each particular stock. The ADR is a 14 day average of those daily variations for each individual stocks. Once you have the results you can look at the chart of the stocks and try to identify if their is one that has some sort of a pattern that reproduces itself daily. If so,you can start buying…

  19. Analogous to the 10/15 RT timing tool, I would suggest to do this for a 10/15 MA tiing tool , based on RV/RT.

  20. I would like to make a strong suggestion. I think it would be great if Real Time can have some type of an alert that would state when all indices are/were up 1% on the day, and at what time.
