Trade History with Export Capability in BackTests

fix bug: minigraph goes into an infinite loop: change vvc rt 9 months to adv/decline & hit OK
I wanted to see 9 months of advance/decline data. Since I couldn't change the advance/decline minigraph to 9 months, I took the "VVC RT" graph and changed it to 9 months, and then I changed the "VVC RT" into Advance/decline. I got an "Index out of range" error message. I clicked on "OK", then the mini graph whent into an infinite look saying "Loading data".
I think you should have a "0" vote for a bug fix - or increase my number of votes. Otherwise I won't be able to tell you about any more bugs I might find.

Alerts should go to optional Cellphone email, rather than only the account email
Alerts going to an optional (2nd registered email) mobile cellphone number would be very useful. I am not stationary at my account email the entire day to receive alerts. I also do not want the messages sent to my account email address to show up on my cellphone. This would require allowing a seperate email address to be registered rather than only being able to utilize the account email address for ALERTS.

Do not delete VV6 for VV7
VV6 has some links like VV University that are not yet available in VV7. So keep VV6 too. You may use both at the same time as needed. .

We are working to bring all the features from VectorVest Online into VectorVest 7, as well as many all-new features.

Allow all results to be returned by Unisearch. VV7 limits it to 100
Just like VV6, please allow the option to have all results to be shown not just the 100. One way I use VV6 is to return all trade-able stocks, i.e with 100K average volume , not ETFs or indexes, and not pink-slip or bulletin board stocks. I then put them in a watch-list and track this watch-list's average price, BSR, etc. This gives a more realistic view of the market. I can't seem to do that with VV7 now

Add the summary index line for a watch list in Vector vest 7 as in vectorvest US
VectorVest US creates an "index" for each watch list by summarizing the all the stocks in the watch list at the bottom of the list. This feature is not available in VectorVest 7 but should be included.

I would like to see an option to show DEW timing markers on the graphs
I like the Markers on the graphs showing Market up/down but I'd like an option to show either standard markers or DEW markers.

The Confirmed Calls button on the lower toolbar of a graph has an arrow that allows it to be changed to either the Primary Wave or the DEW Timing Markers.

Protrader stochastic 3 independent parameters
Modify the parameters set for stochastic to include the required 3 independent paramters:
Period (look back), n
Fast stochastic, k
Slow stochastic, m
Most charting software inlud these 3 independent parameters as follows:
Period (look back), n
%K (Fast stcochastic), k
%D (Slow stochastic), m
Example:
Period (look back), n = 14
%K (Fast stcochastic), k = 5
%D (Slow stochastic), m = 4

show industry group when viewing the stock viewer
When using the stock viewer in VV 7 show the industry group for each stock at the bottom of the viewer as it is shown in VV 6.

Integrate VectorVest RealTime with brokers and existing trading platform to trigger trades.
I would like to see RT integrated with existing broker or trading platforms to execute trades. I do not think it is valuable for VV to become a trading platform in itself, but integrate to existing platforms.
319 votesTrading is now available in VectorVest 7 with the new Trade Now feature. Right-click on any stock and click Trade Now to place a trade.
We currently support trading through TradeKing and will be adding more brokerages in the future.

Add a DPO option in Unisearch
If you have Protrader and the end of day software. Allow the use of DPO in the unisearch tool to check for improving stocks or ones that have just gone positive per DPO.

This feature now exists in the VectorVest 7 BackTester.
To use it, activate the Limit Duplicates setting in the More Settings tab of the BackTest’s Automation Rules. You can then select how many days to not repurchase a stock that was previously sold.
This setting will also be available in Portfolio Automation in the next update to VectorVest 7.
