Provide button to add current item to a comma separated list
I do a search, and then look at the top 10 or 20 charts. Some of the tickers I want to keep; others to discard. As it stands, I have to use the mouse to move through the list, set it aside and write down the tickers of interest, then pick it up again and continue. When all done, I have to go through my handwritten list and manually highlight the tickers in the search. Clumsy beyond belief.
VV should provide a text box displaying a list of tickers, and a button to add the current item to the list.…

Allow reordering of all lists
I should be able to reorder items in any list. For example, with graph layouts, my custom layout always appears at the bottom, and my favorite VV layout(s) at the top. Switching between them is made unnecessarily cumbersome when I'm required to use the mouse & scroll bar. I'd like to be able to move my favorites ini any list to the top of that list, saving lots of aggravation.

Error in calculation of ARR
ERROR - QuickTest calculates an ARR by multiplying the calculated return R by 365/Days. This can grossly underestimate the ARR for positive returns. With negative returns, VV reports an ARR of less than -100%, which is impossible. The correct formula is:
ARR= (1+R)^(365/days) - 1Example: 3% gain or loss in one week
VV calculates ARR= 156% and -156%Correct values: 365& and -80%

Make hiding VV Portfolios checkbox setting remembered
I would like to have the VV ports hidden by default, but there is no setting to do so. I like the checkbox visible and available to change, but it would be nice to retain the last setting I made to that checkbox.

On VV7 Portfolio. Add a metric for current YTD gains.
Currently, I have archived portfolio each year and have to create a "new" portfolio for the current year and try to accurately get the "starting capital" number right. By adding a "Current YTD" metric to the portfolio, I can see both cumulative and current gains for my strategy/portfolio.

Number the stocks
Number the stocks so that when we search for one, we can see it it's No. 30 or No. 7,000 out of all the stocks.

Produce more stratagies using the derby as the main tool.
Stratagies using the Derby are scarce. It would be wonderful to see staff show us more ways to make money using the Derby.

Link to instructional videos in "Comments" box below searches
It would be very helpful if you would include in the "comments" box for each of the searches a link to videos or other instructional aids that relate to or explain that search. For example, there is a video from May 10, 2013, explaining the Colt 45 Automated search. It could be linked in the comments box so someone wanting to know how to use that search, and understand its objectives, could watch the video then understand its use better. Should not be difficult when a video is created such as the one on May 10, 2013, to simply create…

Add "weighted moving average" to the custom field builder
Just as VV utilizes a 30 Day WMA for the DEW, there should be a WMA in the Custom Field Builder.

Derby winners are using searches I don't know. Make a search box to show the folder its in.
Somewhere by the "save... new and delete" on the unisearch page, place a box where I can type in an unfamiliar search I see from the derby. This I hope can bring me to that search so I can identify the folder its in as well as running that search so I can see what the various individual lines are.

control max drawdown of portfolio automatically
we can set up a portfolio control automatically not only with stop criteria { for example 50% gain 15% loss } but also with maximum draw down of the portfolio when the portfolio is reached for example 30% negative draw down it will stop out all the position in the back testing , and change to a new Unisearch to build up another good new portfolio to fit the right trend in the right time

repair the way VV6 determines averages values for watchlists to be accurate
VV6 determines computes the average percentage change for watchlists without using the above percentages and its highly inaccurate at times. Just use a calculator some time and you will see. Easy fix - just offer it.

mass index -add to graph and unisearch
I would like to see the mass index added to the technical analysis tools as well as the ability to do searches using unisearch. Here is a great article about the tool - http://www.forbes.com/sites/tomaspray/2013/09/07/power-your-portfolio-with-the-mass-index/

Alerts on a watchlist;e.g. any stock that crosses its 10 day moving average would send alert to your phone.
Alerts on a watchlist;e.g. any stock in the watchlist that crosses its 10 day moving average would send an alert to your phone. Instead of placing alerts on each stock separately, a common criteria could be applied to the watchlist. No one else {to my knowledge} provides this time saving service.

Performance of model portfolios using MTI MA crossovers
Since the Sure Fire Success trading system was developed using the RT kicker combo signals, no new combo pairs have been introduced for a long while using this system. I can understand this since the long-term market trend has stayed bullish, so the focus has shifted to mainly bullish strategies (using primarily confirmed up/down signals)shown in SOTW sessions during most of this year. These strategies tend to have much smaller max. drawdowns and less frequent trades.
Has there been any research done on back tests of the SFS model portfolios currently being tracked by VV using MTI MA crossovers instead…

Add more historical data to BackTester
Would you please consider adding more historical price data to the BackTester, along with the corresponding VectorVest timing signals (C/UP, C/DN, etc.)?
More historic data will help test ideas across a broader variety of market conditions and avoid curve-fitting problems.
