Option Analyzer Tutorial Needed
I have found few tutorials for this product in Vector Vest. The online version of the instruction for Options Tools is from 2005 using Pro Graphics, is very basic and spends little time on the option analyzer itself. In the recent options course there was no time spent on the benefits and use of the analyzer. To fully benefit from the analyzer an up-to-date detailed tutorial focusing on its use and benefits is required.

Colt 45 for Shorting
A recent SOW introduced the Colt 45 strategy for cherry picking stocks to go long (especially at the beginning of a confirmed up-trend). I very much would like to see a similar strategy for cherry picking stocks to go short.

Add information to filter out stocks that have buy out offers pending - especially (but not limited to) the sure fire success strategy
Don't want to see companies being bought out to either buy or short their stock

Color Guard is too small
The Color Guard is too small and the red background with the skinny font is too difficult to read. I have to use a magnifying glass to read the numbers when the background is red and I never have to do this on the computer and I use Quickbooks, Photoshop, Etrade, CorelDraw... Especially the pop up window when the Color Guard is clicked on the Timing tab - why isn't the pop up window twice as big. It makes no sense to make us struggle to read these numbers.

Unisearch Strategies and Folders
There are maybe over 200 strategies in Unisearch. When these are referred to in Derby or SOTW etc., it is so frustrating and time consuming to locate them under the correct folder in Unisearch. In addition there are some strategies in Derby that do not appear to be in Unisearch. Some users have suggested either a Search button or an additional "Folder" column in Derby. I would like instead that Vector Vest prepares an Excel or pdf format table. The first column would be the Name of the Strategy, the second column, the appropriate Folder in Unisearch, the third column will…

Will you ever have Auto Pilot for this Program? It would be nice to plug in my search engine, buy when it says to and take profits W.I.S.T.
It would be nice to run this on Auto Pilot, that is to say, start it up and let it run for six months, come back and see what the results are!

RSI 'Median or 50' line.
It would be nice if the programmers could fit the RSI Indicator with a 'Median or 50' line.

Hold a Webinar on ETFs
I see that ETFs are quite unique in the viewers, searches, etc. Some of the values, such as RT and RS have no meaning. I would like to get an explanation of the differences relating to ETFs and how these affect strategies.

BackTest Graph
Add the ability to overlay MTI onto a backtest graph, so one can more easily see how the backtest compares to the overall market.

BackTester Parameter Comparisons
When I work on a succession of backtests, changing one parameter at a time, I soon lose track of what I did, and it's not possible to tell from the current listing of backtests how they vary. I would like to be able to see a chart of the parameters used in each backtest for comparative purposes, as in spreadsheet form, either in the existing display, or a report or spreadsheet export. As it is, one has to be very inventive with the names or keep a spreadsheet on the side, all of which takes a lot of time.

Backtester Report with Running Gain/Loss
I' like to be able to produce a report from a backtest that shows the developing gain or loss over time by day, week, month or year. The Transactions report doesn't suffice, because it doesn't show gain or loss and can't be exported to a spreadsheet. It's also not day, week or month oriented. I would also like to see at least a monthly or annual report of gains and losses in the Summary Report.

Backtester Rerun
I'd like to be able to rerun a backtest after changing the underlying UniSearch. As it is, I have to make a useless change to the test, initiate a run, stop, and go back and fix it and run it again. The Run button is not enabled unless a change is made to the test.

Warren Buffett advises that ROE is a very important metric. Can VV make it available also? Thanks.
ROE is offered by other providers. It is a long term metric. Is there a reason VV can not offer ROE? Thanks. JWG

In comparing VV portfolio entries to actual brokerage account, provide means to list trades specific to a particular stock for accuracy.
If one is an active trader, not necessarily a day trader, entering every single cash entry / withdrawal / purchase and sale of stock, dividends paid and reinvested is really laborious. It is extraordinarily difficult to be accurate. If we are not able to import our actual brokerage records in to VV7, provide us with the means to list all entries pertinent to a specific symbol so that when we are attempting to balance accounts between VV7 and brokerage, we can readily see only entries pertaining to a specific symbol. Otherwise, trying to balance fractional shares and DRI's becomes a…

E-Mail Alerts
E-Mail Alerts should give the VV parameters - P, RT, BSR, MTI Trend, Call with numeric values at the start of the trading day when the values have stabilized. This would help those who are travelling or otherwise occupied to take timely action.
