Regional Settings
For international users
Unisearch is formatted as US Regional Settings. If a user do not get a , as decimal descriptor in Regional Settings, Unisearch will not work and generate Error message as it cannot translate Parameter Value of 1.5 into decimal (only recognise 1,5)
My suggestion would be to add the decimal descriptor to be used by VV in Program Main Settings

New Backtest Concept
Present concept is to take a set of stocks at a certain date and see results at the end date. With a tiny capacity to have stops in place. This concept is static.
I suggest to transform from static to dynamic by :
1. adding sorting capacities in unisearch
2. Every day, Backtest system takes the top N stocks (Display top N) of the search (with sort) and assume that this is the population to be present in the BT Portfolio that day.
if one stock is new in list, this is a Long Entry
if one stock was in…4 votes -

VV7 Mini-graphs Need a "1" Reference Line
The "closing" line is really good, but I would really like a "1" scale line for BSR and Advance/Decline. A "2" limited scale would also be very nice even if it presents a mathematical challenge.

VV7 Browser Selection Bug
Currently, VV7 uses the default browser (Chrome, Opera, Firefox, Internet Explorer) for "help", "feedback", etc listed under the HELP tab - however, it seems the selections may only operate properly in iexplorer - so I think you should make it automatic use of the browser of your choice, rather than broken one I usually use

Be alerted with news connected to your watchlist so you know your news right away.
Be alerted right away when their is news about any of your stocks in your watchlist. You shouldnt have to go look for the new news you should be alerted right away as it becomes available. Most new is very time sensitive and I want to know RIGHT AWAY as it's available.

Improve alerts for trailing stops ...
by adding the 'activation date/time' to the automation settings. Since trailing stops only work for price action AFTER the automation rule is created, we need to know when it was created. On a brokerage acct, we have order history - in VV7 there is no way to know.

Enable VV links to open in new browser Tab
Enable VV to Open links in a new browser Tab instead of a new instance of the browser, reguardless of type of web browser.
Maybe this could be a preference the user sets?

Add index summary B/S/H count as in VV6
In VV6 if you click on any watchlist, e.g., S&P 500 and enter a date it will show you in a header above the columns the numbers (and %) of Buys, Sells, Holds.
It allows a quick view of the strength of the market segment represented by the index. You have lost this in VV78 votes -

In backtesting, need option to sell at trailing stop price
At the moment you cannot exit a position at the trailing stop but rather at the close or next days average, which is always higher or lower than the trailing stop. This is not an accurate representation of real life as normally the position would be closed at the trailing stop.

add backtesting of certain times. ie run search at 10am of search and see what it did hours later
Allow backtesting of times not just end of day data. I want to do a search at 10 am and see what the stock did minutes or hours, days later. not just end of the day.
