  1. Example: If the average win per trade is $300 and the average loss per trade is $100 then the profit factor is 3 ($300/$100).

Knowing that info helps us evaluate the value of each strategy.

  3. when charting, to move from 1 instrument to another, one has to point the mouse to the arrow down on the screen to take you to the next instrument.
TC 2000 uses the space bar or the arrow down bar to go from 1 to the next graph. this is much easier to use

  4. You provided a comparison to Indexes and Stocks, but it is only by adding stocks manually through the Graph > Performance option. This is basically useless as each stock needs to be written down from a UniSearch and then re-entered manually in the Graph > Performance option. Provide the option to access the Graph > Performance option from the UniSearch, Portfolio, and all other Graph > All, Selection options. It is nice to see an upward left to right graph trend, but it is much nicer to see how it performs compared to say the S&P500. This is basic functionality…

  5. Export / Import a back test. Right now, a user has to post summary page 3 or in some other way communicate the back test settings so other users can duplicate the results. Having a file that users could share would be much more efficient.

  7. VV use to have a category in the Trading System Viewer entitled YTD (year to date) and I could then track the percentage gain or loss on a day to day basis. The way it is now with 1 month %, 3 month %, and 1 year gain or loss it is impossible to do it on a day to day basis. Could add a YTD category?

  14. The only place to get a written definition for the various market timing rules (that I could find) is hidden behind the Portfolios tab.... PortfolioS>My Portfolio>Edit>Build a Custom Trading System>And finally to a screen that explains market timing. Should this not be front and center on the Home Page so that everyone knows what each of the systems are. I had someone from Support send me a cheat sheet (attached) showing all of the various timing signal rules. This was very helpful and should be posted on the home screen given that VV is touted as market timing software.

  15. Why do you show us the Confirmed Calls, GLB and the Primary wave in this window when they are obvious and clear in the Color Guard further below.
What’s missing in the Adv Timing Window is the GLB/RT Kicker or Kicker Combo signal.
It would also be nice to have an option to see the GLB/RT kicker graph and DEW graphs as an option off of the VVC composite graph window — perhaps with the drop down menu once you open up the VVC graph?
    Thanks!

  16. One can make new folders in Unisearch, but not in watchlists. Now you can create a new watchlist by either clicking on "New Watchlist" or on the down arrow next to that icon. Sadly, the "New Group" icon is grayed out in the down arrow list.

  18. Investors Business Daily's product called Market Smith has an option where you can search for stocks moving up and are basing within a specified point from a new high. This is critical to finding stocks in a base that have not fallen X amount under the percent off of the new high. I have suggested this option many years ago. I think it would be great to track the big winners that we all want to be in. In the VV Unisearch the formula can look like Stock Price > Stock (52 week high) * .9 (.9 would be 10%…

  20. When running UniSearch the moving averages for RT are rounded to 2 decimal places so it is not possible to then mimic a backtest based on the moving average lines of RT. All other indicators should be to 3 decimal places as well.
