  1. Everyone knows that ATR can be used for setting target gain/loss on a stock etc.
Would be very nice to please have the same concept idea on the MTI [Timing], since there is No rule that says the MTI MUST go from 0.60 directly to 1.60 and actually reach that point number.

It would make realistic market movement expectations more controllable.

    Thank you!

  2. Example: in a stock chart i can use candlesticks to spot bottoms [e.g. hammer] and tops [e.g. inverted hammer] etc.

"There is No rule that says the MTI MUST go from 0.60 directly to 1.60 and actually reach that number"

At the moment the MTI is on a scale of 0-2, it might be impossible to convert it into candlesticks on lack of movement[open, close, high, low].
If it would be please possible to scale up the range number [e.g. 0-2000], or move down the decimal number in order to achieve a wider spread range of movement that might make…

  3. the 6mo. chart on NE (8-2014)shows NE went "on sale". Since we track 8000plus stocks a year and earnings report 4 times a year, does this mean that without the right search we are missing over 32000 chances a year to find stocks "on sale"? could you help-please advise. or is this a old idea that has already been shot down?

  8. Since Dr. D said there is NO model which will work all the time, it would be nice to be able to chart trendlines and use other market timing tools on the model's performance chart to help determine when it's time to abandon that model or start using it again.

  12. I always inspect 8 different types of technical charts. If all displayed, the graphs become too small in height. A bit pity when one has a wide monitor screen.
Now, in order to have these charts displayed in a 4 x 4 matrix layout, I have to use two analysis windows of the same ticker, each displaying 4 technical charts in a 4 x 1 matrix layout.

  16. Allow scrolling down the list of stocks, or specifying a range for sorting. for example, I should be able to see all stocks with price range of $10-$15, or RT of 1.2 to 1.3

I can sort the list, but cannot scroll down to the specified range.

Even better, allow ranges on various columns so that one can find stocks with range of $10-$15 with RV of 1.-1.2 and RST of 1.4 to 1.5

  17. Allow me to manually enter a current stock price on those entries in my Portfolio that V.V. does not yet cover.

Perhaps put a 'star' or an 'M' or something to show that it was manually overridden, and will not change unless I go back in and change it. It will allow my Portfolio to be correct. As it is now, I do not know the true value of my actual Portfolio, which I am monitoring on V.V., due to your excellent interface.

    Thank you.

  18. I have seen a small camera looking icon in the upper right hand corner of screens shown by VV occasionally and on other vendors' webinars. When you click on it creates an icon on your desktop screen which contains a screen print of what you were ;looking at when you ciicked the icon. I recommend that this be a standard feature for your SOW presentations.

  19. VectorVest frequently uses percentages when recommending Stops. Therefore, in the Full Stock Analysis Report, in the "Stop (Stop Price)" paragraph, in the third sentence, it would be extremely helpful if the percentage was added in parentheses behind the dollar amount that the Stop is below the current closing price. (In a sample of seven stocks, the Stop Price percentage ranged from 25.1% (BITA) to 8.2% (URI), using 8/14/2014 closing prices.)

  20. It would be very helpful to have industry lists without ETFs as it will help in selection of stocks. Currently the industry list includes many ETF groups which may be seperated and a seperate ETF list can be created for those who want to invest in Top performing ETFs. For example currently Biotech ETF group is at the top of industry list instead of that I think it would be best to have biotech industry group at the top. You may adopt some standard definition of industry groups from sources like S&P or Morningstar etc. (IBD's list is a good…
