Add Ex Dividend Date

you give lots of data on the spreadsheets including dividend yeild but you dont give dividend dates. to be more streamlined, so investors dont have to search the net for the info, it would be nice to include at least the ex dividend date

Dividend Dates are now available in the latest update to VectorVest 7 which is currently being rolled out.

Ex-Dividend Dates and Dividend Payout Dates can be accessed in three ways.

For a printable list of dividend dates, use the new Dividends Viewer in the Viewers tab.

To view historic Dividend Ex-Dates and Payout Dates in a graph, click on the Dividends button at the bottom-left of a graph.

To run a search for stocks with upcoming Dividend Dates in Unisearch, use the new field Dividend (Ex-Date) in the Dividend Analysis group.

    I too would appreciate the ex dividend date being integrated into the vector vest current dividend info.

    I agree with you. I posted a comment yesterday (4-20-10). I suggested they buy out dividend investor.com for accurate, timely information they you can trust.

    I think it would be great to track the market reaction to ex- dividend dates. It should be a small box we can check and then we would see the result /reaction to this date from the market.

    Ex-Dividend Date in VVC would cut down use of other websites. Dividend investing is becoming a SIGNIFICANT part of my investing strategy.

    I agree. I have had to spend hours compiling VV information in Excel then hand typing four columns of dividend dates from Fidelity (1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th quarter). Since I am monitoring the strength and timing of almost 300 dividend paying stocks this is extremely tedious. Also the dividend data itself needs to be kept up to date! Additional request: Would you consider quoting beta and alpha too which I also have to search for.

    I NEED ALL INFORMATION PERTAINING TO DIVIDENDS ,I PURCHASED THE WRONG
    STOCK ONCE BECAUSE IT PAID 20 % BUT THE COMPANY STOPPED ,DELIDDO PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO THIS I HOPE THAT DIVIDEND INVESTORS GET BETTER INFORMATION I WANT TO STAY HERE SWEETPEA1

    I agree with showing ex-dividend dates but would like to be able to search for stocks with ex-dividend dates in a period specified, such as 60-90 days, etc. That information is available elsewhere, and I'd like to be able to get it on VV.

    I agree with that. I don't like having to go to Yahoo or something else to get the information.
