    Use ASX Codes for Stocks & Indices Please

    Can VectorVest please consider using ASX codes/tickers for stocks and indicies in the Australian Market rather than forcing subscribers to use Yahoo style suffixes. For example use the asc code/ticker BHP rather than the VV code/ticker of BHP.AX for all stocks and ASX index codes such as XAO rather than the Yahho convention of ^AORD.

    Having to deal with the VV suffix if portfolios or watchlists are being imported/exported to and from VV is very tedious and time consuming.

  3. Add audible alerts, e.g. police siren, which sounds when my stock reaches it's stop value. This would help when I'm away from my computer.

    Today I was at my PC doing some work in Microsoft Word. I had Vectorvest 7 open on my desktop BUT minimized whilst I was editing my Word document..

    I then maximised Vectorvest and discovered the stock had dropped by 48% literally in the space of 20 minutes. Luckily I was able to sell and lost only $22.

    This scenario could have been a huge disaster had I been heavily invested in the stock. Had there been an audio alarm I would have been able to sell the stock in time and still make a profit.

    Yolanda, your representative & I suggest: Alert customers via email or text message of a confirmed "Up or Down" in the market. People are always on the move and can't check their computers throughout the day.

  5. Hold a Webinar on ETFs

    I see that ETFs are quite unique in the viewers, searches, etc. Some of the values, such as RT and RS have no meaning. I would like to get an explanation of the differences relating to ETFs and how these affect strategies.

  6. VectorVest US (Online), Internet Explorer, Chrome

    I was only able to use the VectorVest U.S. (online) when running Internet Explorer 9 as an Administrator (Windows 7). The computer chose to upgrade to IE 10, and now I can't get past the "redirecting" page. It seems that Chrome gets a little closer, but I can't get the tabs to appear (for Unisearch, as an example), and the links on the left navigation bar are ineffective.

    I am presently in the UK and am unable to access vvsa - vvuk pops up when I click on vv south africa.
    I do NOT want to continue subscribing to vv when my 5 week trial ends.

    writing about a fix to use password manager when signing in, I use RoboForm, From a layman's standpoint it seems as though the only thing that needs to be done to use the password box is to take out the word and put it on top of the box, so that the password can fill an empty box.

  12. Need further look back time than 10 days

    The S&P 500 has been in an uptrend for 8 weeks now but Vectorvest still has a C-DN. On June 4, 2012 the S&P 500 hit a low of 1266 and on July 27, 2012 it closed at 1385, a gain of 119 points. This does not make any sense. Price action trumps all and an 8 week rally with a gain of 119 points is nothing to sneeze at. A look at weekly and monthly price data would improve results. Also chart pattern recognition should be added to identify continuation patterns such as bull and bear flags and double…

    Could you please create an audio version of the daily color guard report (e.g. podcast or mp3 or enable downloading of the current mp4) ? This would be real amenable to my lifestyle / long commute to work.

  16. Email Daily Updates

    Push the daily updates to the subscriber base - or at least allow subscribers the option to receive daily updates via email.

    People travel - greater convenience. Can even receive on their

    I just found VV in Aug 2011, when I first wanted to get into learning trading stocks. VV's ongoing webinars has helped me learn the market basics and has taught me the correct way to analyse and trade. The Market timing graph and entire MT system, plus Views helps me know what to do. I swear by the searches and the top rated VV Stock list. And so on and so on. I've been mostly studying it all and papertrading since August, while coming up with some more capital.   20. FIX IT!!!

    In order to work properly with Internet Explorer 9, VectorVest has automatically updated your browser settings.

    You must close and re-open Internet Explorer for these settings to take effect.

    This fixes a bug that was introduced in the initial release of Internet Explorer 9. Microsoft is aware of the issue, and we are working with them on a permanent resolution. Once a permanent resolution is in place, we will automatically revert your browser settings back to their original state.
