  2. VV currently displays Stocks and Industries diversification pie-charts in the Reports section of Portfolios. Could we also have the option of a sector diversification pie-chart?

  3. Improvement Request:

Since I have been a subscriber to VectorVest (many years) I have had a problem with the User Portfolio settings. I have several different Portfolios set up for different stocks and can add my stocks to them and then arrange the various columns the way I want, but the problem is that the columns do not stay where I put them. If I leave the Portfolio screen and then return to it I find that all of the columns have gone back to their default positions and once more I have to re-arrange them. I have clicked on…

  4. How do I set up a portfolio where:
Mkt in UP condition: Buy stocks with a certain +/- profit locker lets say +40/-25.....
Mkt in DN condition: Do buy or sell short anything, and adjust the profit locker (effectively tightening stops) to say +40/-10 on all stocks I have (purchased in Mkt UP condition).
One or two of the folks there didn't think it could be done.

  5. Would like the ability to program the Genius to keep all long positions open at the end of a trading session and close all the shorts even if they have not met their stop criteria.

  7. As we are limited to only 10 portfolios with the Genius/Auto Timer ON, for those of us with many portfolios, it would be a lot easier to have an option to check only those. You could have a checkbox like you now have for VV Portfolios to only select and see the active ones (Genius/Auto Timer ON). This way, we don't have to scroll down by all the Manual portfolios to see how we're doing with the 10 Auto ones.

  8. When one has selected a basket of stocks in the portfolio, and populated the pending order page with IB brokers; entering symbols and quantity and the market turns down, one is locked into the IB page. To leave the brokers page, one must cancel all input, loose data manually entered.
Please allow the IB trade pending to remain populated when exiting and hold the pending orders for the remainder of the trading day. that way one can return to the populated pending page later, and quickly execute orders.
    Thanks,
    Jim Ownbey

  9. Please excuse me on this one. I realize I should submit this through ‘the system’, but I am going to try to make this recommendation directly because I think it is a simple one … if there is such a thing.

Pick any Portfolio … pick my … Haegg I or II. (1) Note there are investments in stocks, etc. (2) Note there is ‘cash’. BUT when you print the portfolio, ONLY STOCKS are printed … NO CASH !!

My recommendation is that on this portfolio printout, CASH SHOULD BE INCLUDED!!

Do you think this is a solid recommendation deserving…

  11. I was disappointed when your "New Portfolios" turned out to be renamed old portfolios. I would have rather seen what's working now not what worked a long time ago.

  15. On the Portfolio tab, allow multiple stop criteria to apply concurrently to a given stock. For example, Trailing Stop plus %Gain/Loss. Minimally, this would be for one OR the other. Better would be to support other logical combinations, like AND and OR, with parentheses grouping.

  16. On the list of stocks in the Portfolios tab, flag the symbols where the Stop criteria has been met. In cases where automation is not being used to close the position, this is very important. It saves going back through emails or the Activity Logs.

  18. Have the ability to locate a particular stock in all portfolios simultaneously rather than having to open many portfolios to find the position. If it could be extended to stocks found in various searches simultaneously, that could also be a plus and real time saver.

  20. Allow the cost/share amount to be at time of entry be used to calculate the %prc field. This way on purchase day you can see the true %prc gain.
