  1. Add Market Timing automation tools and start and finish dates to the PortFolio Manager

    As it stands, the Portfolio Manager lacks the flexibility of the BackTester and consequently has limited value as a live trading management tool. To improve the usefulness of the Portfolio Manager, the Market Timing Automation tools should also be included as part of the tool kit along with start and finish dates.

  2. Choosing which open parcels to sell in portfolio tracker

    Does your portfolio module allow the user to choose which open position(s) are to be sold?

    Currently it seems that rules average out the entry price of all open positions and then force earliest parcels to be sold first. This may not be what the user is doing.

    The portfolio summary report then tries to give the user feedback on winning/losing trades and then a further breakdown on open/closed positions. The summary data provided is misleading because of the rules that have already averaged out the positions and forced earliest parcels to be sold first. It tells you there have…

  3. Post new portfolios. Take last years great portfolios and start them at 1/3/2013 and not at 1/6/2012.

  4. Ability to email Reports

    Ability to be able to email the various reports from reports dropdown.in the Portfolio manager. Right now you can only print each of these reports.

  6. Misleading 2013 portfolio results

    I find that starting the 2013 model portfolios including results from 2012 to be misleading. To my knowledge this has not been done in the past. Why now?

  7. Fix portofolio bugs

    1. when changing portfolio setting from manual to automatic a long error message is received that an SQL command was missing.
    2. If you try to purchase a security in a portifolio that is set to automatic you get a selection screen. If you select post the transaction and stay in automatic mode you get an error message.

  12. Summarise key statistics of the overall portfolio

    On the bottom line of Stock Viewer or watch lists the key average statistics are displayed for the overall page you are viewing but not on the Portfolio view. This would be especially handy to know the Dividend yield of your portfolio based on the weighting of each share held.

    You could also see if a share being considered will improve or decrease the safety (RS) of your portfolio or not.

    Post a marker on the portfolio graph as to when a security was posted to get a sense of when direction may have changed.

  17. Add divident

    Adding divident to a position changes the original date of purchase of the position. Can this be corrected?? so a position bought in 12/4/2008 shows the same purchase date when a divident is added on 2/1/2012. That's what happened. I decided to reinvest dividents in few positions and my original dates of purchase have been changed so I don't know how along I hold these positons any more!!!!!

  19. Allow portfolio automation to select x number of replacement stocks per day

    Allow port folio automation to select any number of stocks to replace per day until the max is satisfied, the same as backtest can do. This would save a lot of manual work trying to figure out the best of all those selected automatically and would preclude automation from entering stocks not wanted.
