  1. THERE ARE COMPANIES WITH FINANCIAL PROBLEMS ONE WOULD NOT BUY. OFTEN, THEY HAVE SYMBOLS WITH A Q AT THE END. THERE ARE OTHER SYMBOL ENDS WHICH ONE MAY NOT WANT ALSO. WHEN USING THE SIMULATOR, THESE BAD COMPANIES CAN SCREW UP THE RESULTS. CREATE A FILTER IN THE EXCHANGE PART OF A SEARCH TO ELIMINATE THESE COMPANIES.

  2. I would like to combine output from VV with other info coming from Yahoo ... and many other sources. Good way is to combine many different types of data in a spreadsheet and then rank accordingly. This can be done automatically. But exporting from VV is very limited for now.

  3. Specifically VVC-RT, BSR, Percent Buy,Sell, and Hold levels, and especially the MTI, as a bonus you could throw in the Value of the VVC as a field also. Just think of the strategy's possible using the MTI as one of the criteria! Thanks, Ed S.

  4. so for example, lets say you are looking for when stocks change from a negative MACD to a positive MACD, a tone would go off when this takes place.

  6. When filtering for Earnings Date, include stocks where the earnings date is empty in the results.

Ex. Ron Wheeler (and others) look for stocks whose earnings date is more than 3 weeks away. In Unisearch I'd like to: Earnings Date >= 21

Many stocks do not have the earnings date filled in. This filter should return all stocks whose earnings date is known and is >= 21 days out as well as stocks whose earnings date is not known (implying the earnings data has not been announced and is likely further out)

As it is, this filter is almost worthless…

  7. Make a UniSearch parameter inactive instead of having to delete it.

Useful when creating complex Unisearch, such as the one shown by Todd Schaffer called "TSIC Basic Search Hard Right Edge". During a bear market, we would like to remove the parameters "Stock Price > 52 weeks ago Stock Price" - so I don't want to delete the parameter, I just want to make it inactive for a few weeks.

  8. Unisearch should have a Unisearch Average like a Watchlists do. As it is now, I have to add the search results to a watchlist to see the average.

  10. I really hate filing taxes when I have K-1's to deal with. I would really like a list of all companies or partnerships which issue K-1's so when I set up my screener, I could enter "Stock Watchlist <> K-1" to keep from getting any of those companies in my portfolio.

  11. it would be very usefull if you can search for the new stocks in VV, for example:

the new added stocks last month, or 2 years. for the moment thats not possible i think.

  15. add 2 columns

1 let user select intraday, end of day, end of week or weekly data (just like on graphs)

    2 let user select intervals 1M, 2M, 3M, 6M, 1Y,5Y (just like on graphs)

This would make Unisearch 10X more powerful and here's how. Go to graphs and select layout GLB/RT Kicker and choose 5Year chart. Try a few different symbols and see if you notice any patterns when RT10ma crosses RT15ma. It's a killer!
Would be nice for Unisearch to find those for us vs. manually hunting for them.

  17. It would be nice if Unisearch had a between operator. This would allow searches such as, i.e. Operator: Between Value: $15 and $30. This can be accomplished using two unisearch lines but the between operator would be more efficient.

  19. Add increment / decrement arrows to the Unisearch date with automatic RUN when the date changes. Now it is a multiple step process to run a sequential date series of Unisearches and watch how the results of the search change.

  20. Please add SMA EMA Crossovers. By using a simple move average and an exponential moving average the crossovers are much more dramatic. A great indicator to buy on the daily is the EMA 12 crossing above the SMA 20. To sell use the EMA 6 crossing below the SMA 10. I developed these the hard way, if I could back test and incorporate the VST in the search I'm sure they could be refined to be even better.
