moving lines of data in portfolios
It would be good to move the stocks listed within a given portfolio up and down. A user might want to rank order stocks being considered; say most desirable on top and less desirable below.

Re portfolios users create, it would be helpful to have a field for users' notes (like, buy once it crosses resistance at $xx.xx) . This type of note-to-oneself could also be accomplished by a post-it note feature.

Revamp the portfoilio/Genius alerts to be more streamlined and informative. Right now it’s a repetitive jumbled mess.
There are 3 parts to this suggestion. I go into each one in detail in the attachment, but basically there are three broad suggestions:
- Revamp the daily email, which is basically a regurgitation of the prior day's activity log. It is currently a mess, far more data than needed, inconsistently presented, and oftentimes redundant. All that makes it far less useful than it could be. Bottom line: state only the last “stop criteria met” of the day for each position, and eliminate all of the “Stop Criteria…enabled” alerts for each position.
- Revamp the Activity Log of the Genius itself, so…

When there is a system outage or error, record a message at the beginning of your phone message, as well as on the VectorVest homepage.
Subscribers need to know what's going on when something isn't working, like today's complete failure to load. A recorded and posted message would do that, and also decrease the customer service load as well.

Please add the ability to sort ETF's by expense ratio or fee's.
Viewers/ETF viewer, you should be able to sort the entire ETF database by expense ratio or fees. You should be able to see the expense ratio or fee for every ETF on all platforms (US/Europe/etc).

List Transaction date/time as a field to choose and sort on in portfolio > layout
List Transaction date/time as a field to choose and sort on in portfolio > layout. That way one could sort by intraday time to look at duration of trade for day trading etc. Only giving trade date is limiting as the timestamp is an important value for traders for many reasons. It should be easy to do as the data point is stored with the trade.
Under Portfolio > reports >
Transaction log does list "Trade Date" as mm/dd/yyy hh:mm xM format so time is recorded somewhere. While T log is open cannot return to VV program. Cannot cut/paste or…

Bearish Long searches for Derby via RoboTrader
I have been testing out your software and have discovered that I would need the ability to implement derby's bearish long searches for the downtrend in RoboTrader. You cannot short inside of registered canadian lira, rrsp & tfsa accounts. So this whould be a huge help to automate my registered accounts by using contra etf's in a downtrend... Thanks.

Please change the "Stock Viewer" so it only shows "stocks" and NOT "stocks + ETF's". After many years of subscribing to VV, I do not recall ever noticing the "co-mingling" of stocks and ETF's in the "Stock Viewer". This makes it impossible to easily screen stocks! It appears that someone recently decided to rank the "Stock Viewer" based on VST for both stocks and ETF's. The "ETF Viewer" only shows ETF's so why does the "Stock Viewer" show both stocks and ETF's? Perhaps you should re-label the "Stock Viewer" as "Stocks + ETF Viewer" and create a separate tab for…

xfinity mobile
I recently changed mobile carriers from Verizon to Xfinity Mobile. I just noticed that I am no longer receiving mobile alerts from my portfolio even though my mobile number did not change. I notice that the text message alerts are sent via a proprietary email address for each carrier (e.g., 6783611783@vzwpix.com). Please add the corresponding option for Xfinity Mobile.

Automatically determine a stock's Price ARR for a given time period - 1yr., 5yr. etc.
Vector Vests base rule is to buy consistently growing stocks. There needs to be an automatic calculation of ARR in "Viewer" portfolios with the time frame set by the investor. This could be similar to the MA (Moving Average) settings in "Graphs". This way, the investor can chose those stocks that meet his parameters AND have the greatest history of ARR Price growth.

ETFs are large, they move the market. Calculate the total ETF (long, non-contra), BUY, and SEll Volume.
ETFs are huge, they move the market. Calculate the total ETF (long, non-contra), BUY and SELL volumes. This will show the direction and turning point of the Market as a whole. This could be added to the ETF folder in "VIEWERS'.
