Include the ability to utilize US Market Timing Signals in VectorVest 7 Canada
Include the ability to display and utilize the US Timing Market Timing Signals on Charts, Backtesting, and Custom Trading Strategies in VectorVest 7 Canada
Many US stocks are now available to trade through the Canadian Stock Market. However, developing a successful trading strategy is largely dependant on the market timing signals occurring in the US Market.
Including US Market Signals in modeling trading strategies in VV7 Canada during Backtesting, and utilizing in Portfolios and Robotrader will be extremely useful

On chart trading with click and drag Open/Buy, Close/Sell, TP and SL using RoboTrader
Would like to be able to fully Trade Directly on Chart and manage trades in RoboTrader using Stop Loss and Take Profit Tools. This would allow everything being done inside of VV7 the power of all the other tools that other platforms don't have we would have to go outside of VV to fully manage trades. I also would like to see RoboTrader actually make the trades that I set up with my trading parameters without asking me all the time. I should be able to choose the trades that I want VV to trade for me and the ones…

Add BSR and MTI to Market Timing options so that bottom fishing and other searches that are typically triggered by BSR and or MTI can be automated using RoboTrader (and Portfolio). BSR and MTI were requested in UniSearch for about 10 years and it's obvious that VV does not see the value in doing this even though their users do. Adding BSR and MTI to market timing is perhaps more appropriate.

Use Moving Averages for stop criteria
Customer requested for stop criteria to include the option to use moving averages. Customer specific example was trying to use the 5 EMA crossing below the 13 day EMA as an automated exit strategy.

Problem with "You have exceeded your trading system quota". There should be any number of trading systems allowed as is the case with Portfolios but only a limited number active trading systems, that depends on VectorVests limitations (currently 5). Should just have to turn off one of the other trading systems if the limit is exceeded before turning on the other. This would be more consistent with Portfolios.

Graph all button or ability to highlight and graph all. Make it consistent with other lists. Would save time. Buying from the graph should automatically use the RoboTrader set up as well instead of having to go through the selection process.

Add Crossover Pairs to Trading System Stop Criteria
Add Crossover Pairs to Trading System Stop Criteria, so that a Buy/Sell Stop is hit when, e.g., the 5-day MA or SMA crosses Above/Below the 13-day MA or SMA. This is already included in UniSerch, but would be extremely powerful if added to the Stop Criteria of a Trading System.

Day trading buy and sell hot buttons
RoboTrader has too many buttons for day trading. Have buy and sell hot buttons without having to set stops, etc... Too much time wasted going through the various steps.

SELL RECOMMENDATION does not work. How am I supposed to know that my stocks are sold? The "S" is still indicated after the transaction is already done! I called Questrade and they said that I should use Questrade Edge to confirm the transaction. Why is it that RoboTrader is not programmed to do so? Also, "Recent Alerts" keep on adding up on my cellphone making it hard to tell if they're new alerts or old ones. I need to see only current alerts and not the ones I've already checked and executed.

Convert portfolio and backtesting and Portfolios to RoboTrader.
Cannot convert a backtest to RoboTrader. Would also like to be able to convert a portfolio to RoboTrader.

RoboTrader: Move a Positions from one Trading System to another
Let's say I have two RoboTrader trading systems: 1. Investment 2. Swing Trading
if by mistake I acquire a position under the wrong trading system, I have to manually delete it from one Trading Log and manually add it to the other Trading Log. Would be nice to have in the Trading Log, a buttom MOVE, to move the entry from one system to another. Thanks.7 votes -

Would you please in the robotrader "manage trading system" at the bottom "BLOCKED SECURITIES" Add the option of adding new stocks. We can only UNblock the stocks we selected, but we can not add more to the list. Thank you
