Make QuickTest Start Date and Title consistent with the UniSearch Version
The QuickTest, especially in Viewers / Watchlist Viewer, does not include the Title of my watchlist, and it "forgets" my start date between watchlists.
QuickTest of Now to Now is USELESS. I have to reselect the start date for each watchlist I evaluate in the current session.

Please eliminate prompts in Portfolios table construction
Entering data into a Portfolios table (as well as closing positions gracefully) are unnecessarily difficult in VectorVest. A long time ago - in computing terms - the idea of prompting for every parameter and confirming entered information at the end of entry may have been very useful. Today, these are just tedious processes that contribute to VectorVest crashes in Windows 11. I have used the Portfolios tool for a very long time but now find myself using much easier portfolio tools in some of your competition. This costs me a lot of duplication of effort. Is there really still a…

Download/Upload of Portfolio Data in VectorVest
Most investment applications like VectorVest that I’m familiar with offer a download to Excel feature for Portfolios. Some even offer upload from Excel to speed up creation and management of Portfolios. Both of these features seem relatively easy to implement, given that there is a limited import from Excel capability for Watchlist. Also there is already a very tedious work-around for downloading Portfolio data to Excel. Can the VectorVest team consider this minor update to both the desktop and web app? It will bring this aspect of VectorVest up to date to match other applications in the market.

Show ProTrader values in UniSearch row results
For example, when using ADX in the UniSearch the value of ADX is not shown in the UniSearch row results. Values of the ProTrader values should be shown.

Limit repurchases should only apply to the current market timing signal
When using "Don't repurchase the same stock for N Days after sale" it should only apply to the current market timing signal. What happens now is that the system counts the days from when it was purchased in the other market timing condition, for example, if the stock is bought during a C/Dn, and is then sold because of a change to a C/Up and then found in the UniSearch for a C/Up it will not be bought if the number of days between when the stock was bought at the C/Dn is less than the specified days to wait…

VST and RT optional > and >= and <=
Stops for BackTester, RoboTrader, Portfolios. Add >= and > and <= operators for RT and VST to close a position if the value gets to a high level. This would be helpful after using a UniSearch that finds low RT stocks, for example for bottom fishing or a contrarian method and then closing the position if RT gets to a high level. Overall this just gives the user more options to test new ideas.

marker/vertical line or other feature when graphing of the buy in date(s) - Leigh Sargent
In portfolios it would be nice to have a marker/vertical line or other feature when graphing of the buy in date(s) and number of shares for multiple buy ins. You would have partial sell dates to consider but this is simple math on FIFO, LILO or average. Something like you have when landing on a candle stick and shows the High and low for the day etc. One of your teachings is NEVER GIVE BACK MORE THAN HALF YOU HAVE GAINED! It would be nice when you land on the buy line that it gives you the price you bought…

With trailing stops add a step
Totality Australia formerly SaxoPro have a step option with trailing stop losses. Set the stop using an actual amount or a % amount below the existing price then add a step amount entered as an actual. e.g. the user may wish the price to advance say 3% (nominate any amount) before the stop value will move up.
I think it's a great feature.1 vote -

Terminology
Are we family? It certainly seems so, with VV setting up a GoFundMe for Glenn and encouraging us to support it. When Jim died his group lost their friend and mentor.
So why are we called "clients," a term that feels distant and disconnected?
Wouldn't "members" be warmer, involved and more familial?
Just a thought.1 vote -
Unisearch term search
Unisearch is a beast of information, like a library unto itself.
We need it to be searchable - the titles, the description, the conditions, the Custom Field Builder, VV Functions and their meanings, et c., all things used to write conditions.
Half of time spent creating searches is finding the function to create it. Information is buried in deep layers. A researchable index that tells what it does, and where it is located would be fabulous.
I've gone through the VV7 Help PDF. It didn't have the information I needed.
Being able to print off the list of VV Functions…1 vote
