    Have a new survey that polls the users about how they use the Derby experience.

    Ask the following types of questions and rate from 1 to 5.

  2. Genius Enhancements and DERBY Automation.

    Add another selection to direct Genius. Replace and Alert Only are the current selections. Add another button for No Action.

    I am trying to automate and test a number of searches using Genius. I have some Portfolios that are only Place Holders to use for for the Portfolios that I want to monitor. These Place Holder Portfolios generate Alerts that I do not want to see because they are useless and obscure the Alerts that I want to monitor.

    Apparently, there are some people at your end that would like to add more functionality to the Genius. I am testing…

  5. Add the option to Quickfolio stocks selected from the Quicklist

    I have three Quicklists (Gold, Petroleum and Misc.) on my home page and it would be more efficient if we had this capability. My home page is more suited for efficiency. This capability is available everywhere else.

  6. Price adjustments sometimes needed

    There are occasions when a stock's price needs to be adjusted. VectorVest adjusts the historical price of a stock when a split occurs.

    Another appropriate occasion for adjusting a stock's historical price is if a stock spins off one of its parts, such as happened with DHR on July 7, 2016. My brokerage immediately adjusted the historical price of this stock because the price, value, and other fundamentals of this stock remained unaffected. VectorVest, on the other hand, did not adjust the historical price, resulting in distortiaon of VectorVest's indicators (RV, RS, RT, VST, DY, etc.). This stock continues to…

  7. Add the ability to select Market Open

    If I am a Swing trader I would like to see results from the Market open and not the Prior day Market close. Add a selection in the applications Tool Box to make this selection. All of the Stock, Sector and Industry data would be for today on the Home Page , for example, it would show results and trends for Today. This would apply to all other places. I would like to see what Gold is doing today, this would guide me from the Home Page to look at my Portfolio to Buy or Short Gold. I have added…

  8. The %PRC and $ change from Unisearch is dangerous information

    The starting price is from one day in the past until now. This is not the information that an active trader with Real-Time information wants to see. Please look at the AVGR Graph for 7/12/16 and 7/13/16. The drop in price occurred at market open (insider information?).

  9. The Derby is not showing results that have way more value.

    Add two more columns to the Derby spreadsheet, the Winners ROI and the Losers ROI, this should be an easy implementation. The derby pie chart results should rank based on the ROI of the winners. The % winners column is useless in this scenario.

  10. DERBY - Add the ability to input a starting time.

    Add a new analysis mode by adding a starting time for today.Show derby results and individual stock results from the selected time. Only change the left portion of the Drill-down to show results for the stocks in the basket from the input start time. The right side Graph should remain the same by showing the Graph from Market Open.Call me for additional add-on ideas.

  12. News Gadget

    One of the improvements that can be made is in the news gadget. It displays only a few and does not refresh continually but manually. It must be fully customizable and be able to change colors, font size and color.

    Also it may contain features like to display certain colors for hot news or for portfolio positions.

    I do not know how many fields it may have but only few news for the lot of news produced by the market?

    Think about it!

  14. Australian Exchange Traded Options

    Index Options are an important part of the Australian Exchange Traded Options Market. If one tries to use Options Analyzer with the underlying index (^AXJO), the available strike prices (up to $75) are not near the strike prices offered in the market (eg 4,850). One contract is worth $25 per index point and the expiry is not the same as for Stock options, being the third Thursday of the month.

  15. Standardize Names for Moving Averages in VectorVest Fields

    Use a consistent naming pattern for moving averages in the VectorVest Fields group.

    Currently, there are two patterns:
    CI ## Day MA
    ## Day MA(RT)

    I personally like the CI naming pattern, because the field would be clustered with other fields using the same base measure.

  16. Limit Investment Percentage In Back-Test, AutoTester

    Allow back-testing to limit the portfolio amount to be invested. This would be useful for users of AutoTester, as well as those who execute tests manually.

    For example: "During Confirmed Up, I want to ramp up to 100% invested. During Confirmed Down, I still want to buy long (?from a short ETFs list?), but only maintain positions up to 50% invested."

    There are currently these two mutually exclusive choices:
    ( ) Invest all buying power
    (O) Invest average portfolio value

    I am suggesting a cap, by which these two are constrained:
    Limit overall portfolio exposure to [______] %

  17. New Shares issued is not timely.

    The number of New Shares issued directly affects Price. When new shares are issued, Price drops accordingly (see AGNC on 12/9/2010). But VV's data display is late, thereby making it impossible to correlate the relationship between New Shares issued & Price. Can't VV display the data in a more timely fashion to enable trading and searching based on this phenomenon?

  18. Center Popup Screen Location

    Whenever a popup screen appears – it is not centered upon the parent window; the location of the popup window on the screen is random – this is just a usability issue. If the popups can be centered on top of their parents – the navigation will be simpler.

  20. Allow Users to add more columns to the VV7 homepage

    It would nice to be able to add columns on the VV7 home page. I've dedicated one of my 24 inch monitors to VectorVest and that leaves a lot of real estate to take advantage of an extra column for minigraphs of selected stocks, indexes, etc. I realize that I can create tear-off graphs for those and position them beside the RealTime program window, but the positons are not remembered when the program is next started so the operation has to be redone on each restart.
