  1. A portfolio is now created by entering one trade at a time. If a portfolio exists on another platform, how do we get that across and integrate it easily into VectorVest? How about using a table to input values, or allowing to import via CSV? Right now it takes too much time especially if the portfolio has 20-39 holdings.

  2. Most programs have a Logoff button that is not buried in the red X close program button. It needs to be intuitive.

  3. Make realtime available for EU.

Great to have VV7 for EU now, and even better to have realtime, so one can react to changes in the trend indicators during the day instead of having to wait to the NeXT day

  4. Graphing and scanning stocks is essential. Need the ability to quickly and easily flag or add to a watch-list before moving on to the next stock graph.

VectorVest should add a checkbox that can be tic'd that adds the stock to a default watchlist.

  5. A couple years ago when I subscribed to VectorVest, I asked that PJX Resources Inc. on the Canadian TSX-Venture be included (Ticker: PJX; Website: www.pjxresources.com). However, I did not complete a formal request, and instead had left a phone message for Angel. I am again asking with a formal request that PJX be added given it has promising precious and base metal prospects in a mining rich area of southern British Columbia, as well as been rated favourably by stock rating services. Thanks

  6. I recently purchased the ProTrader in order to use more technical signals for my trading. However, from the hundreds of available technical indicators, I am surprised that VV has very few indicators available. As well, Stephen Bigalow has been involved with VectorVest and has also identified his top 12 candlestick patterns that represent the majority of significant signals, with 6 bullish and 6 bearish, but even these are not all available. The top 12 signals include Doji, Bullish & Bearish Engulfing Signals, Hammer, Hanging Man, Piercing Pattern, Dark Cloud, Bullish Harami, Bearish Harami, Morning &N Evening Stars, Kicker Signals, Shooting…

  7. Dr.Dilido advocates waiting until 1 hour after exchange open before buying/selling in order to allow any frenzies to be revealed and/or to assess market trend. However, Dr.Dilido's guidance is not reflected as an option in the back-test simulations, instead it has only to buy at market open...contrary to Dilido's advice. Please include an additional option to simulate with a one-hour delay and then to follow simulation rules. Thanks

  9. It would be very helpful if VectorVest would create a Seasonality Graph for each Industry and each Stock in the VectorVest system. Since you already have at least 10 years of data, programming this should be fairly easy to do.

  11. In vector vest version 6 "stock info" exist
    See atachment

In version 7 the “Stock info” has be removed of the software package.
    I find be very regrettable.
The stock information has the advantage that you can view a lot of information at a glance without the need to read a lot of information.
Considering that the “stock info” is so easy of use, I will insist to reinstall him.

  13. Add Elder Impulse System for price display. See Chapter 40 of The New Trading for a Living by Alexander Elder. This system uses different colors for price bars based on the possible combinations of EMA and MACD-Histogram. If EMA is rising and MACD-H is rising the price bar is green (bullish) and shorting is prohibited. If EMA is falling and MACD-H is falling the price bar is red (bearish) and buying is prohibited. If EMA is rising and MACD-H is falling the price bar is blue (neutral) and nothing is prohibited. If EMA is falling and MACD-H is rising the…

  14. Add RSI to database as a searchable field for specific values.
The RSI crossover is helpful but not as useful as searching for a specific RSI value.

  19. Our User Group discovered that the Stop Price used for stop ascending sorts is based on the Split-Adjusted Stock Price, not the Actual Stock Price. This distorts the back tests done with such searches.

Let's take an example. If you run stop ascending search on February 19, 2010, the number two stock that pops up on the list is VFC, and that is one of the stocks that the back tester would have bought on the following Monday if you started using this system on 2/19/10. If you graph it, you will see a Stop Price on that date for…
