  1. Add an explanation of how the recommendations are made

    I understand that the buy, sell and hold recommendations are based on the relationship of the stock price and its level to the stop price. I don't fully understand the recommendations from buy to hold and hold to buy. I believe that they are based on the next day's open, but I'm not sure.

  2. I would like additional Sectors listed under the FTSE/JSE Watchlist Tab.

    I am a South African VV user and was recently very pleased to find the addition of Sectors listed under the FTSE/JSE Watchlist Tab. However, I was equally disappointed to find that the list was incomplete extending only as far as the Industrials Sector. Can this list please be extended to cover all the JSE Sectors? Also, could the JSE code be included in the Sector description for clarity – for example ‘ALSI 40 (J200)’?

  5. Potfolio back test shows same stock of bse and nse

    When back test done, if the stock listed in bse and nse, same stocks is selected from both nse and bse. it should take only one exchange. in simple avoid adding same scrip twice in back test search. today when I did one test I found sks micro selected both from bse and nse out of 10 stocks

  6. adding stock symbols to create watchlist or portfolio addition takes long time,

    can we search stock symbols by typing 2-3 starting letters of company and then select the sysmbol to save time

  7. Can we have seperate search folder for vector vest RT,RVS, top 5 search options.

    Unisearch has too many search option, I spent 3 hours, could not which one gives best result. can we have Vector vest RT,RVS,MTI search options in separate folder. Also can we have option to search stocks from index like bse midcap, small cap so that search is only quality stocks only.

  8. Add Midas Touch watch list 1996-2009 so we can backtest all the rough periods.

    The Midas Touch watchlist is currently only available from 2009 to present, so we can't backtest the really rough downturns around 2000 and 2008. Please add this valuable watchlist to cover from 1996 to 2009 so we can compare it to all the other strategies during these crucial times.

  9. Is it possible to add years 2007 & 2008 to the "Midas Touch" watchlist?

    Since these were very bad years it would be nice to see what a backtest would look like using the Midas Touch watchlist for these years. Today the watchlist only shows stocks back through 2009.

  12. Moving Average of Price for Stops Criteria

    Moving Averages of a stock's price are universally used by traders. Can VectorVest incorporate custom Moving Averages into the Stop Criteria? For example, I'd like to be Stopped out if price falls below its 10 ma of price.

  13. Backtest Weekly en End of Week

    I would like to see in the Bactester the following: now the backtester is created on DAILY basis.

    I ask you to give me the choice also for the Backtest WEEKLY and END OF WEEK, like I see in GRAPH-item.

  16. color highlight graph selections(1 of 11) currently in use! Greater clarity and effiency

    highlight by color or a symbol the graph selection being used so you know which on is current. Currently there is no way to tell what graph set up is in effect. very time wasting, to change selections to find out

It would also be useful to see how many positions in the ranking a given industry or sector has risen or fallen over a user specified number of days. That would give a sense of which sectors/industries are rotating in of out of favor. Currently we can see deltas in the rt but the position changes would be more useful.

  20. Add MTI data for each stock and provide an MTI parameter for graph purposes

    This would allow the MTI data available for each listed stock the same as now shown in the Market Climate graph for the VV.
