  3. I keep buying stock when I mean to sell it because I neglect to change the "action" button from your preset "buy" selection. Can you please change it to a required selection instead of preset?

  4. Prices in VV are currently not adjusted for dividends. Hence, all analyses and backtesting are currently missing out this important component.

Unfortunately, there is also no setting we can toggle to turn on this adjustment.

There are plenty of lousy chart patterns in VV that turned out to be nice up trending and high CI stocks after adjusting for dividends. I now have to scan for these stocks outside of VV using a separate charting platform.

Wouldn’t it be great if we can get VV to screen these out and have dividends factored into backtesting?

  5. When you pull Graph select there is a window asking for the number of stocks I want but it always must start from # 1. If there are total of 75 stocks, and I only want stocks 45 to 65 I must pull from #1 to 65 can't pull just from 45 to 65

  7. I have a program in Mathematica that would allow me to assess the probability that a stock would be up or down in the future , taking cycles into account, and it would be useful for Binary Options trading.
If the minute by minute data could be exported in real time, I could then run a 4-5 minute analysis and purchase a binary option for some time later in the trading day.

  8. Stock Up/Down Ratio which compares the total volume on UP days to the total volume on DOWN days over the past 50 sessions.

A ratio GREATER than 1.0 indicates a positive demand for shares.
This would be an excellent indicator to add to the VectorVest inventory.

  9. Another software provider has very good note functionality.
    1. Notes appear on all graphs for a symbol.
    2. Notes can be moved.
    3. Notes can appear anywhere on a graph and can be set to automatically move with the graph or remain stationary.
    4. Text color is configurable. I like the Vector vest background color adjustment.

  11. Create a watch list that is country specific. Folder for Russia or China or Greece or Canada, or USA, or Singapore or Brazil or Israel, etc. They are out there and coming on strong but they are hard to find. One has to look at every ETF in detail to figure out its investment plan.

  13. During the day at work I cannot run VV due to firewalls so I can't see Stop Prices. I think it would be great for all of us to see this on VV mobile so that we can better manage our stops. Thanks!

  17. Mark Chalkin developed the Accumulation / distribution line and the Chalkin Money flow. This chart is so simple to read and it shows whether investors dollars are flowing into a stock or out of it along with the degree of inflow or outflow. I always use it before purchasing a stock. Several in my Richmond VV group have expressed an interest too.It would be great to see VV add the Chalkin Money Flow to their charting analysis.
Several at our Richmond group meeting would like to see it also.

It simply show the dynamics of money flowing into a stock…

  19. This is a fundamental concept and a very useful VectorVest tool; but it is time consuming and awkward to navigate one's way to it in the essays. A help file entry (and/or a glossary entry) would be an efficient way for users to access it for reference. Additionally, pointing to the essays that discuss it, from within this help file entry, would be a useful mechanism for users to help themselves to a better understanding of the concept and its application.

  20. My broker, Commsec (Australia's largest) uses 6 decimal places on their contract notes but VectoeVest will only allow 4 resulting discrepancies in all the accounting and brokerage making it useless to submit for taxation
