1. Allow "stop-limit order" directly from Trade King

   Trade King platform has ability to place "stop-limit order" directly. Cannot do that through the Vector Vest Order Ticket. If VV is linking to Trade King why not simply adopt the order entry scheme used by Trade King?

2. longer term searches.

   Each day you show the best one day and one week searches - great for short term investors but what about mid term and long term investors.

   I suggest that once a week on Friday or Monday you show the best 3, 6 and 12 months searches.

   I think they would be different from the ones you show now.

3. Stock Name/Ticker code/Industry/Sector to be displayed in top horizontal bar. The water mark option makes the chart clutterd.

   The Water mark option on the chart makes the chart cluttered. Place the Strock Name, Ticker Code, Industry and Sector in the top horizontal bar. This way the needed information is displayed and not in the way.

4. Put the items in the menu containing indicators ("Confirmed Calls", "DEW", etc.) in order of sensitivity.

   Right now the menu items are in no particular order. It would be a great help to have "Primary Wave", the fastest indicator, at one end of the menu and "Confirmed Calls", the slowest indicator, at the other, with all of the other indicators appearing between these two extremes in order of their sensitivity, from fastest to slowest.

6. RT Alpha

   I would like to be able to create a custom field which can compare the RT of a particular equity to the RT of an index (e.g SPX). It would also be nice to be able to use this calcualted variable in the portfolio section for stop loss/gain purposes.

7. Could VV enable the graphs to be displayed in a monthly time Graph frequency/time span selector by Eula Jackson

   Most Australian trading software can be displayed as a monthly frequency. Insight Trader, Market Analyst, Steks, Boarse data etc.
   Vector vest has all the data but only displays graphs as a daily or weekly frequency.

10. Eleven week highs for RT

    By looking for higher highs in RT, EGRX would have been found about two months earlier. Look on 12-31-14; 1-02-15 and 1-23-15. Using this indicator in conjunction with a watchlist showing each day stock going from less than one to greater than one on the RT and going above their 40 day moving average.

    EGRX met those conditions on 12-17-14. Look at the dollar movement on the three dates I have mentioned for EGRX.

    Also, look at SCMP on 10-03-14; OPK on 12-15-14; BRLI on 6-04-15
    and BEAT on 7-9-15.

14. Unisearch quick list definitions (comments)

    Since there are so many available, it would be nice to be able to create a listing of the searches with the comments explaining what they are searching for. As a new user it may take me a long time to go through and read these one by one if I have to click on each one. With a listing I could make a quick decision on which ones I may be helpful for my style of investing and or the current market conditions. Then I could simply print the list and high light which ones I wanted to use.

    As a past systems person, this would be a very simple task to create this option.

15. Portfolio Record is very important for stocks and entering manually is not user friendly compared to most other softwares.

    Portfolio Record is very important for stocks and entering manually is not user friendly in Vector Vest compared to most other competitive software I use.
    1 Does not allow for 1/2% duty we pay in UK for buying transaction only.
    2 Does not allow for entering Gross cost and no. of stocks only and allowing V V to work out cost per share whilst entering the transactions. It will simplify and increase the speed..
    3 A particular stock may have 5 transactions over a period of time. It is useful to see Transaction log only for that particular stock to see clearly transaction dates and prices paid / received each time.

    Vectorvest should make it possible to save a stock in a watch from the graph viewer. As of now I find that it is extremely laborios to write down the stock and to go back to save afterward it the from the search list

17. Let users set new default values for backtesting

    A trading system that works for a $100,000 portfolio may not work well for a $10,000 portfolio. Suppose you usually want to backtest using an account size and commission rate that match your own account. Right now you have to change these account values each time you run a backtest. If the user could set different default values (instead of the current defaults of $100,000 account size and $9.95 per trade), it would save time and effort when running a series of backtests. 18. Midas Touch

    I am a subscriber to Vector Hong Kong and have been impressed with the unisearch item “midas touch”. I understand that extensive trials were carried out before putting this out to the public in the USA and Canada versions.

    My question is that what works for one region may not be optimised for another region and I would like to tinker with the three criteria MA Stop(10), MA Stop(65) and MA RT(40) to see if it can be improved for use in Hong Kong.

    Using the custom field builder I can change these criteria but I cannot find a function to set the time to select those stocks where the MA Stop(10), MA Stop(65) and MA RT(40) or equivalents achieve the midas touch requirement that they are at the highest pioint in the previous three months – how can I do this. By way of example I would like to test an alternative midas touch to find only those stocks that are currently at the highest point in the last 2 months not three – can I do this with my version. This could generate more stocks in the list and potentially allow me to enter earlier.

    Can I do this with my version and if so – can you give me a hint or pointer.

19. After Unisearch extracts a selection of stocks it would be nice to have the total amount of stocks pulled on a screen (as it was in Ver.6)

    Please make total number of stocks available on the screen in UniSearch area, exactly as it used to be in your version 6. Lack of this feature is very inconvenient, as it involves manual count.
