  1. Add divident

    Adding divident to a position changes the original date of purchase of the position. Can this be corrected?? so a position bought in 12/4/2008 shows the same purchase date when a divident is added on 2/1/2012. That's what happened. I decided to reinvest dividents in few positions and my original dates of purchase have been changed so I don't know how along I hold these positons any more!!!!!

  3. Add True Strengh Index (TSI)

    I primarily use TSI (7,4) and TSI (25,13) for daily charts and change these periods for other chart frames. Having variable periods will give a lot of flexability.

    TSI is a great trending and signal indicator. When starting to trend, it indicates a change in stock direction is underway or about to change. When it crosses zero, it reinforces the stock trend.

    Being able to search TSI in protrader and plotting it on graphs is very powerfull.

  5. allow cursor to reveal entire name of issue. most abbrev. are indeciferable,esp. ETF's

    have the cursor reveal the full name of the issue just like my brokerage a/c's do. why do i have to go to analysis just to get a name???

  7. Add the Print date and time to all Print Requests including Portfolios. Example see My Back Tests

    There seems to be an inconsistency. Some reports already have a Date & Time as part of the report. Others do not. Can it be automatic and if not can I create a custom field. As an example I have print-outs but no reference date. Thanks

  8. Add portfolio % gain/loss on actual money at risk

    Many times a nominal portfolio of $100,000 cannot be fully invested. However, the rate of gain/loss is always calculated on $100,000. It would be great to have a report/option to show the rate of return on money that is actually invested. Removing cash is a clumsy and not totally accurate way around this. This rate of return could be based on the highest invested amount for the life of the portfolio, giving a much better total return report.

  10. The ability to view and then print multiple graphs in VV7

    In VV7 each graph has to be printed, one at a time. In vvUS we could view and then print multiple graphs with just one click. If possible, please change the print function to allow for printing of multiple graphs

  11. Decimal dots/ decimal commas

    Hi VectorVest,
    If I do a search with VV 7 the answer is: “Input string was not in a correct format”. If I do the same search with VV US, I get a result. I have found that the dialog box appears if the search contains a decimal dot like RV>1.3 and RS>1.5 and so on. I understand your database only accept decimal dots. But half the world uses decimal commas. My guess is that when your decimal dot reaches my computer it is transformed into a decimal comma. When I press Run Search my decimal comma reaches your database…

  12. A Reference Area for Initials

    As a newcomer and with a full set of disc presentations, I would find it very helpful if you were able to provide a separate screen tucked away listing alphabetically the full wording, and maybe a very brief clarification, of all the initials that you use throughout your system.

  14. Order of the Portfolios

    Instead of having the VV Portfolios (eg Chairmans Choice) at the top of the left column, please post OUR personal portfolios first. I may look at the Chairmans Choice once a week, but I want to look at My Portfolio daily or more. Why make me scroll down everyday, but have Dr D's right on top?

  17. UPDATE FASTER/SOONER!! YOU HAVE A LIVE VERSION. WHY DOES IT TAKE SO LONG TO BE CURRENT? WHY CAN'T YOU UPDATE ON MARKET CLOSE EVERY DAY?

    why don't you update daily on market close? what a hassle and inconvenience to have to keep checking over and over for the new daily report. not cool.

  18. VV7 Search temporary changes.

    In vv6 while doing a backtest under the Portfolio tool I can make temporary adjustments to the Search ( such as the price or even add a new criteria to the search). However, I am told this is NOT available under either the Portfolio or Backtest tools in VV7. This should be made availabel in VV7.

  20. On Express - why can't you make the window pane 'expandable' so I can read the Daily news stuff without having to constantly scroll down eve

    Allow me to open up the Strategy window pane to be able to read it, without having to constantly scroll it down every other sentence. VERY user unfriendly. Thanx.
