  1. When using quicktest, i may want to examine some of the symbols in greater detail. It would be great to just highlight the symbols i liked in the quicktest and put them into a watchlist

  2. As was done with ETFs, divide the CEFs into categories - growth, muni, fixed income, preferred, bond etc. Add NAV or discount/premium to NAV in (RV col?). Use percent leverage (or some facsimile) in the (RS col?). A quality number/ranking (esp for bomds) as a function of AAA, AAb, B etc rated holdings perhaps in the (EY col?). More to come ... we'll see. No revolution required but evolution would be very nice.

  3. I would like to combine output from VV with other info coming from Yahoo ... and many other sources. Good way is to combine many different types of data in a spreadsheet and then rank accordingly. This can be done automatically. But exporting from VV is very limited for now.

  6. The trade history report currently includes only closed postions. However, a trade is not only a round trip buy/sell, but also a buy with an open position. I would like to have all open positions also added to the trade history report. There should be an indicator that the position is open and maybe only fill out the final price column if the position is actualy closed. This way I can run one report and see all my trade history, open or closed.

  13. I have seen this done with horizontal bar mid page - color coded green/red UP/DN - on a 6 month chart and it is useful. Other bars could be for other period information like MTI, BSR at preset levels (<1 vs >1), etc.

  14. Custom Field Builder should enable using operators (* or /) to be used with Moving Averages. A Moving Average of Range divided by Price will yield stocks favorable for day trading because they have the most intraday Range of movement for the lowest Price ... highest reward with lowest risk.

  18. Preferred Stocks may not provide the spectacular headlines that your advertisements tend to sensationalize, but they should be be followed and utilized, especially for Retirement Portfolios. Quantumonline.com provides a great database. I am sure your system will work effective for this important aspect of portfolio diversification.

  19. Hi there...I've been a vectorvest subscriber for about 2 years now. One suggestion I have is to have a numerical ranking system...say adding another variable "R" to the other columns already available. All this would show would be the position the stock is ranked out of all the stocks currently being tracked. For example, looking at the top 5 stocks as off today, CTEL would be ranked 1/7998, RICK would be 2/7998, SWM would be 3/7998..etc. This way when you look at a stock's history you could see that a stock's VST has made it move up significantly, say from…

  20. After creating a graph of stocks from the "Graph All" button, the only way to go through the stocks is to use the scroll bar. This makes it very difficult to look through the stocks if you want to jump to a specific stock.

I would like at a minimum to be able to drop down a list of stocks available in the graph list to be able to jump directly to that stock. Aditionally it would be great to have other improvements to the navigation such as the ability to resort.
