  2. DollarVolume Average

    Custom Field Builder should support more complex calculations - n period average of daily average price times volume. The DollarVolume average is particularly useful for determining if a transaction might impact price (which can happen with low volune / low price stocks).

  4. Default Graph Layouts for Stocks, Industries, Sectors

    Default Graphs for Stocks, Industries, Sectors should be segregated and different. These categories have different fields. Examples: 1- RT Ranking is a field in Industry Graphs but not Stock Graphs. 2- Stocks have an Industry Group field but Industry Graphs does not. Currently it is not possible to setup default graphs where the categories have different fields.

  5. In CG daily report, in Derby section, use today's Opening Price, not yesterday's close

    Opening price give more accurate Derby performance.

  6. Add BSR column to sector / industry viewer

    Add the BSR rating to the industry and sector viewer pages and also add this as a field for use in Unisearch. This would allow additional flexibility in using industry/sector in selecting stocks.

  8. cash flow

    I suggest VV add cash flow so we can sort companies by their CF to Price. This ratio would be atleast as valuable as Price to Sales.

  9. Include Sector details also in Stock Viewer along with Industry details

    Please add Sector details as a second row under Industry details in Stock Viewer. This will help us quickly analyze a stock, its industry and its sector. In the current version, one can only see the Industry info, and have to open another window to see the sector details.
    Another alternate would be to have Industry and Sector related columns be made available under layout customization so that we can chose which ones to be shown.

  11. Graph a portfolio

    VV allows you to graph a watchlist, but not a portfolio (as far as I know). Allow the same functionality so you can track the RT of your consolidated portfolio, compare performance vs the VVC or other metrics, etc.

    The number of shares of a corporation that are outstanding and available for trading by the public, excluding insiders or restricted stock on a when-issued basis. A stock's volatility is inversely correlated to its float.

  13. Add additional portfolio backtesting stops and buy conditions for portfolio.

    Add a stop parameter to allow for conditional triggers - a 10% daily loss or 10% from the purchase price, 10% off the purchase price or 15% from the previous high or some other combination.

    Allow for C/UP, C/DN, UPUP, UPDN, DNUP, DNDN to be additional conditions of buy or sell - ie. only execute the buy strategy during C/UP when the primary wave is UP.

    We are planning on adding these Market Timing conditions to BackTester soon.

  14. Enter buy points on watchlist graphs

    It would be very helpful for visual tracking of stock buy points if we could enter the purchase date and price for any watchlist stock and have it appear as a point on the graph. Perhaps plotting the buy and sell dates from the portfolio tracker would accomplish this.

  17. Create Stop Loss Strategy: Buy 10 -- Hold 15

    I would like to have a new Stop Loss Strategy that would enable me to buy the top 10 stocks from a given strategy and hold them until they fall out of the top 15. This would enable me to continually upgrade my portfolio without excessive whipsaw trading. I would particularly like to have the capability of testing this new stop loss feature in the VV Simulator.
