Have a Window that asks, "Do You Really Want To Close", when you click on the Xin the upper right.
More so then not, when trying to open "Option Pro" in the "Tools", I find myself clicking on the "X" by mistake. The program closes and I have to reboot the whole program again.

Make sure Chrome is usable in the Training Tab
FYI... I just finished an online chat with Adam from VV. I was trying to get a better understanding as to what the Climate chart was suppose to be showing me so I went to the Training tab in VV. The Navigation Training Series wouldn't open neither would any other link on the page.
Adam suggested I try another browser like Firefox. I told him that my Google Chrome browser was very popular in Canada and their IT folks should should make the links workable on Chrome. He said it was a known issue. I then suggested that a notation…

Have a Coach who can intelligently discuss the market and sound professional.
The Derby and all of your products would be much more impressive. There is more to presenting and explaining your products than just knowing how Vector Vest works. I have signed up for information and not for goofing around and singing songs.

Display the Slope of a Trendline
Display the slope of a Trendline that you draw on a stock chart, in percent /year or percent /month. This is one of the main criteria that I use when deciding what to buy. You can see visually if the price is rising smoothly, but is it rising 10%/month or 30% ? This is a standard feature on TC2000 and other charting systems. If VectorVest had this, then I wouldn't have to subscribe to two systems :).

Correct Decimal Places in Portfolio View
In Portfolio view we are able to add stock purchases with fractional shares. This is great, as many brokers allow us to purchase factional shares. As shown in file "1", VV allows us to add 7 decimal places. So far so good. However, when I view my purchases in the Portfolio (file "2"), VV rounds the shares up to the nearest whole number for the amount of shares owned (the cost basis is computed corrected). Suggestion #1 is to revise the Portfolio view to show how many shares we really own and NOT round the number of shares…

I would like to be able to set an alert to be sent to my phone when the Color Guard changes from yellow to green.
When the Color Guard changes from Yellow to Green, this is a signal in many of the VectorVest Trading Systems that market conditions are favorable to buy stocks. It would be great if I could get an alert on my phone when the yellow to green change occurs, so I don't have to regularly check the software to see if it's time to buy stocks. Thanks!

Another idea for Genie !!
Genie works to let us know when a 'trailing stop' has been realized. Once I sell a position, many times the stock will rebound. Why can't Genie be programmed to alert us to the fact that a sold position has rebounded a specified percentage.

DRIP entry into portfolio
Make it possible to split a dividend payment into cash and DRIP components so the number of shares held in the portfolio and the buying power are reflected correctly once entered.
This can be done now by adding the total dividend in cash and then purchasing the number of shares at the DRIP value, but it would be terrific if it could be done in one window.

Add “Prior Day’s High Price” as a Stop
In both the Backtester and Portfolio I can use “Prior Day’s Low Price” as a stop. This is great for when I purchase a stock LONG, but there is not an equivalent stop for when I Sell Short. Adding “Prior Day’s High Price” as a stop would enable me to use the same logic when I sell short.
