Allow User settings to be saved in a Portfolio
Improvement Request:
Since I have been a subscriber to VectorVest (many years) I have had a problem with the User Portfolio settings. I have several different Portfolios set up for different stocks and can add my stocks to them and then arrange the various columns the way I want, but the problem is that the columns do not stay where I put them. If I leave the Portfolio screen and then return to it I find that all of the columns have gone back to their default positions and once more I have to re-arrange them. I have clicked on…

Can't close Android App
Since the last beta update, I can no longer completely close this app. It runs in the background, which is unacceptable. I click on NO to run in the background, and the app doesn't close. If I click on the Android home button or back button, they don't close the app. I can only click on the Force Stop button to close this app. For security reasons, I want this app to close completely and require a password to reopen it. Please fix. Thank you.

How do I set up a portfolio where:
Mkt in UP condition: Buy stocks with a certain +/- profit locker lets say +40/-25.....
Mkt in DN condition: Do buy or sell short anything, and adjust the profit locker (effectively tightening stops) to say +40/-10 on all stocks I have (purchased in Mkt UP condition).
One or two of the folks there didn't think it could be done.1 vote -
Monthly time frame to graphs
Adding a monthly time frame to the graphs would be great.

Add more technical indicators like CCI, Twiggs MoneyFlow, etc.
VV7 is the flagship product but is lacking in technical indicators, especially compared to VV's Options Pro! We keep hearing that retail investors should watch for institutional footsteps, so what better way than Twiggs or Chaikin (competing product!?!) MoneyFlow, as well as the popular CCI, and several others to allow for more trading techniques/approaches. VV needs to keep in step with the competition and add more technical indicators! TYVM!

The "Genius" now must be switched off every time I switch to a different portfolio. Once a day was annoying; this is unacceptable.
Provide an option to semi permanently switch off the "Genius" function for those of us who do not want to use it.

It would be nice if you could automatically change the stops when entering a down market condition even though you select no action
When entering a down market condition and you select no action, being able to change the stops automatically would be very helpful... I know it can be done manually but automation is needed for back testing.

Profit locker
The profit locker using robotrader at times tell me sell a stock with less than 5% loss when the stop loss is set at 15%. Once it told me to sell and buy same stock after a loss.Is this correct?

Provide actual MACD and Histogram values to Unisearch and Custom Fields
The current MACD and Histogram values are available to the graphs, but are not available for doing searches or creating custom fields. It would be more innovated and a better tool to accommodate a larger portfolio of styles if one could search using the actual values. Example: MACD < 0, or MACD between -1 and 0. Or to add more power, something like MACD < 0 and trending higher. Flexibility would be a good enhancement.

Software bug in Backtester
In VV7 Backtester It is difficult, if not impossible, to reproduce the "Easy Rider" strategy as demonstrated in the 3 Easy Rider videos of 2011 (VV6 was in use at that time).
The problems are:
1. It is only possible to setup Long or Short trades and not both unless Market Timing is checked (Easy Rider requires both Long and Short trades and does not require Market Timing).
2. Once Market Timing is checked it is necessary to elect one Search in the setup process which persists throughout the strategy run. This frustrates selecting the appropriate searches from the Derby…1 vote -
Tedious entry of symbols into Viewers in Australian software version
In the Australian software please eliminate the need to enter each symbol followed by .ax in the Viewers.

BETA APP -- % gain/loss in Portfolio is wrong. Either use decimal value or %...not both at same time.
Noticed that the portfolio gain on individual stocks is incorrect because both the decimal value and % sign are combined. Off by a factor of 100.

Consider adding field "cash per share", as some companies are holding huge amounts of cash, often offshore

Support Multiple Brokerage Logins in TradeNow
I currently have four accounts with Ally.com but can only use two accounts with the trade now account. I have a non IRA account, A regular IRA account , my wife's IRA account and a non IRA acount. It would be nice to be able to use the trade now account on all accounts. I am sure I am not the only one who has this problem.
