Watchlist alerts
Please provide the ability to add alerts in watchlists. This could be a simply list not set up for accounting reasons, or attached to our portfolio if we wish. Would not want the alert to stop and stock removed once the stock reaches that alert like currently happens in paper trading portfolio with genius. The alerts should be any setting we desire, eg.
when Rec=Sell
Dew or confirmed call up/down
x% trailing stop
RT< eg 1
breaches MA40 or eg 150
even combo of MA40 & RT<17 votes -
Covered call entry edit
Allow ability to modify CC transaction to reflect buy to close early exit of option

Include "BEST FIT WEEKLY" filter in Unisearch Protrader under Directional Indicators
I use Directional Indicator +D(14) crossover -D(14)" Best Fit Weekly graph" of shares as it gives the best indication of a sustainable uptrend of a share. However, the filter "Directinal Indicator" in Protrader in Unisearch only shows crossovers for 1 day up to 30 days. This is not really very helpful as there is far too much "noise" associated with it. By using the "Best Fit Weekly" it removes much of the "noise" and gives a much clearer indication of a sustainable uptrend. The "best Fit Weekly" is obtainable only by opening a graph of the share. I am disappointed that courses I have paid for in digitalchalk expire after one year. I would like to see no expiry.
There are several reasons; Working full time makes it hard to complete. No option for refresher or review after one year. Moved on to another strategy then would like to go back to the course at a later date.

Each ProTrader search should show up automatically when the chart is opened
Each of the available searches in ProTrader should display the chart that matches the actual search criteria automatically without the user having to insert all the parameters when the chart is opened

Increase number of trading strategies to 10 for people with multiple accounts
I have consolidated all my trading and retirement accounts with Ally. I am allowed a total of five trading strategies which is very limiting. The strategies for retirement account are very different than a trading account. For large accounts diversity is desirable but not possible under the present system.A priori it is difficult to know what strategy will work best without experimentation.

stop loss - Poor Performance Exit
I would also like to be able to set a stop to exit if the price does not achieve X% per annum pro rata N days after purchase. I don’t want to wait until it has lost a bundle to get out, I want to get out if it is not performing well enough, and get into one that is. Eg if I have a 10% per annum target, and the stock is only up 2% after 90 calendar days, I want to exit. If, having achieved 4% at 90 days (16% annual) it drops back to less than 10%…

Custom Fields - include the "Time of Search" operator in the Field Builder.
One can specify "Time of Search" in UniSearch. If one could do this to modify a field when defining a Custom Field, then one could also calculate many useful fields, such as Delta, or Momentum. Be sure to allow the Moving Average function to apply to the time shifted parameter.

Allow User settings to be saved in a Portfolio
Improvement Request:
Since I have been a subscriber to VectorVest (many years) I have had a problem with the User Portfolio settings. I have several different Portfolios set up for different stocks and can add my stocks to them and then arrange the various columns the way I want, but the problem is that the columns do not stay where I put them. If I leave the Portfolio screen and then return to it I find that all of the columns have gone back to their default positions and once more I have to re-arrange them. I have clicked on…

Can't close Android App
Since the last beta update, I can no longer completely close this app. It runs in the background, which is unacceptable. I click on NO to run in the background, and the app doesn't close. If I click on the Android home button or back button, they don't close the app. I can only click on the Force Stop button to close this app. For security reasons, I want this app to close completely and require a password to reopen it. Please fix. Thank you.

How do I set up a portfolio where:
Mkt in UP condition: Buy stocks with a certain +/- profit locker lets say +40/-25.....
Mkt in DN condition: Do buy or sell short anything, and adjust the profit locker (effectively tightening stops) to say +40/-10 on all stocks I have (purchased in Mkt UP condition).

Add more technical indicators like CCI, Twiggs MoneyFlow, etc.
VV7 is the flagship product but is lacking in technical indicators, especially compared to VV's Options Pro! We keep hearing that retail investors should watch for institutional footsteps, so what better way than Twiggs or Chaikin (competing product!?!) MoneyFlow, as well as the popular CCI, and several others to allow for more trading techniques/approaches. VV needs to keep in step with the competition and add more technical indicators! TYVM!
