Add Keltner Channels and 50 day EMA and 100 day EMA
Keltner Channes are much more useful than Bollinger bands.
Also, I want to make sure that the 50 day EMA is above the 100 day EMA of the underlying stock or ETF.12 votes -
Fewer updates
I'm sick of all the small updates to VV7 that force me to reset how I've set up my system. It's a time waste and and poor programming. And that doesn't even include the updates that force you to reboot the system.

I have been using the Back test facility for some time now and would offer some observations and comment that I feel might improve the understanding and use of this tool.
There is a possibility that members could be confused between the terminology of a HOLDING in a portfolio and the number of positions within a holding.
You use the term POSITION in the MORE SETTINGS tab where I think you mean HOLDINGs
…When the options are positioned NOT to restrict further investments in a company, multiple positions can arise in one HOLDING. A breakdown of the portfolio clearly shows

Add a data point for 12-month alpha or whatever the industry standard is.

Choice for Portfolios Summary
As we are limited to only 10 portfolios with the Genius/Auto Timer ON, for those of us with many portfolios, it would be a lot easier to have an option to check only those. You could have a checkbox like you now have for VV Portfolios to only select and see the active ones (Genius/Auto Timer ON). This way, we don't have to scroll down by all the Manual portfolios to see how we're doing with the 10 Auto ones.

Multiple Moving Averages
Multiple Moving Averages in VV-7 . Please add capability to chart multiple moving averages at the same time. "Add Parameter" only allows one MA line at a time.

Add Sort/insert to UniSearch Parameters
Adding a sort/insert function to UniSearch Parameters would make modifications/editing so much easier to accomplish. I'm surprised it isn't there.

Subject: Pending orders
When one has selected a basket of stocks in the portfolio, and populated the pending order page with IB brokers; entering symbols and quantity and the market turns down, one is locked into the IB page. To leave the brokers page, one must cancel all input, loose data manually entered.
Please allow the IB trade pending to remain populated when exiting and hold the pending orders for the remainder of the trading day. that way one can return to the populated pending page later, and quickly execute orders.

Add NBGGY to VV stocks
NBGGY is the symbol for the National Bank of Greece and is traded in all exchanges

It should be very interesting to include " the bookvalue" of acompany in the VV parameters.
I think inclusion of "the bookvalue " (assets-liabilities) of a company as a new parameter in VV would be very interesting for the judgment of a company.

VVC analysis in nightly color guard review
Dr. Diliddo, 1. I believe the VVC gives a biased view to the markets in which the majority of investors have no interest. The VVC acts more like the IWM than any other market. Either purge the VVC of the thousands of stocks that investors have little to no interest in, or better yet, track a legitimate market like the wilshire 5000, or some such. Pick any Portfolio … pick my … Haegg I or II. (1) Note there are investments in stocks, etc. (2) Note there is ‘cash’. BUT when you print the portfolio, ONLY STOCKS are printed … NO CASH !!
My recommendation is that on this portfolio printout, CASH SHOULD BE INCLUDED!!
Do you think this is a solid recommendation deserving…
