  2. rather than the pie charts for bullish/bearish sentiment, I would rather see it in graph form, in that way, it would be easier to follow the market sentiment change

  4. Currently, if you add cash to a portfolio, VectorVest calculates the addition as if your portfolio gained that much through trading, and if you withdraw money from a portfolio, VectorVest calculates that as a loss. Depositing and withdrawing money to or from a trading account are activities that investors do on a regular basis. Such transactions should not affect the G/L%.
The workaround for this calculating error is to modify the opening deposit. Modifying the opening deposit does reduce the effect of this miscalculation, but it also slightly reduces the G/L percentages since the gains and losses will be calculated…

  5. Loved the size of the Powerpoint presentation form the webinar...How to Profit from Different Market Stages on 1/13/2016...

When providing the slides (which I love) can they all be provided in that format and not 3 to a page or so...

  6. Hi not everyone lives in Tampa or the US and we cannot attend Seminars. Then you give 2 day live Webminars, which is a step forwars but not everyone can sit in front of a computer for 2 days because we have normal jobs.
You could offer On demand Seminars for the rest

  11. Provide a watchlist with the top 5 stocks from the top 5 sectors in one view. Users could quickly build a diversified selection from such a list. As it is now, many times the top VST stocks are all in the same sector or industry. It seems prudent to divide investments among various sectors by top VST in each sector and to avoid having multiple holdings in the same sector.

  15. When back testing an idea be able to say I only want to buy if the market is up on a particular day. This would be in a confirmed up condition. If it was a confirmed up condition and the market was down on a given day, I might want to refrain from buying on that day. Same for a down market - I might not want to short on an up day.

  16. Offer a 4th plan of payment for the Derby which includes choosing how many days per month one would like to use and pay for the Derby option. The person would commit to a certain number of days during each month that he or she would partake in the Derby. This would allow people to participate if they had some week days off during the month. The cost of the plan should be prorated based on the number of days one participates. Of course, one would maintain the real time plan as well. I would happily participate in 8 days…

  19. It would be great if we could use a simple or weighted MA for stop criteria in our back tests. If it were set up just the way it is in the graphs you could select either simple or weighted, and then adjust the days to match the moving average you were wanting to test.

  20. The Portfolios tab in the top just shows "Buying Power", "% GL Today", "Total Value", and "%GL". Unfortunately other important statistics are left out, like ARR, CROR and Max Drawdown.
To get those statistics I always need to build a backtest of the portfolio.

Please, add all the additional statistics in the Portolios tab (%Winners, Total Commission, ARR,CROR, and Max Drawdown). It would make everybody's life easier, and those are very important numbers to be aware of. I'm not sure why they were omitted in the first place.
