Earnings Release Dates have been added to the latest version of VectorVest 7! Earnings Release Dates are available in Graphs, UniSearch, Viewers, and Portfolios.

    This information is critical to my buy and sell strategy as regard to the timing of the transactions. Earnings release dates are provided in other investment software applications, it would be a big enhancement to Vector Vest incorporate this information in the stock displays.

    I use a strategy from Zacks data around the earning release date. Critical to any trading strategy.

    Adding next expected earnings report date, time would be very helpful.

    We need to know AHEAD OF TIME when a company will release their earnings data. At present I look at Zacks for US stocks, and StockEarnings for both US and Canadian stocks. VectorVest could add this as a FIELD that can be displayed along with RV, RS etc. Indicating Before or After market hours would be a plus. Please make this Searchable too for Unisearch. Possibly add a marker to charts like OptionsPro has but I don't think the VV displays can be scrolled to show the future as in OptionsPro so a marker might be a lower priority.

    This idea was first suggested by Angel in 2009 and response came from Admin in 2010. This is a simple add-on but a very important one. Please let us loyal subscribers know when this will be added.

    I just called in and asked if this was available. It is not yet, but glad to know they're working on it. Seems like an obvious thing that should be in there already. It is already in Options Pro, but not in the regular Stock Chart feature of VV7.

    Follow the release date with a letter either B or A standing for Before Market Open or After Market Close.

    This may be a pure fantasy but it would be great to have the earnings date tied into sell criteria and unisearch as well as plotted on the graph. As an example, be able to sell a stock 1 day before earnings.

    I agree this would be very helpful. It would support certain decisions regarding option calls or puts. It provide another tool to analyze why a stock may be moving up. Further it would be great if it could be added to a sort procedure.

    Admin stated Planned to add since June 2, 2010. So when are you going to get around to this?
