A new tool that would search for Support Bounces or Resistance touches ,

What I would like to see is a new tool that would search for Support Bounces or Resistance touches , W patterns.cup and handles, etc with just a click of the mouse. I would like to Search the Sectors, Industries, and watchlist, either mine or Vector Vest's..

    While waiting for the pattern recognition feature let's add a simple moving average indicator developed by Richard Donchian. It plots the highest high and lowest low over the last period time intervals. This indicator shows support and resistance.

    I think this is a critical need. I now have to use Finviz.com and go back to VV to check the vitals. I agree with the comment above "support and resistance is the most important but I would also like it to automatically identify channels, wedges, triangles and other significant chart formations."

    It is VERY CLEAR that this "improvement idea" is EXCELLENT and SHOULD BE done ASAP by Vector Vest...
    SO:
    HOW MANY POSITIVE COMMENTS does it take to get VV to actually IMPLEMENT IT? ?? ?

    Does VV need a "Salvation Army KETTLE" to help it PAY to implement GREAT Suggestions like this one?

    Scans showing the return and bounce off of the 20 50 200 ma's would be most helpful as well

    If we could run a portfolio through this screen, we could see which of our stocks were bouncing off of support or hitting resistance. It would make life very easy.

    I think this would be a great addition to the VV toolbox. May be worth an extra price as an add-on.

    Exceptional idea. Other sites offer similar tools, but it would be a great time saver to have VV add that tool to coordinate it with the VV searches.

    This would be a great addition and save the users a great deal of time sifting through charts to find these patterns.
