Recording of Jockey Club for Tue. April 20th??
Glen Thompson gave a riveting presentation some of us came late to see, on the Jockey Club for Tuesday, April 20th. Glen ‘flashed’ a ‘speed attack’ by too quickly revealing hidden features of the VV7 software, many of us newer or long ago, now refreshing VV users have never seen before. Like Glen’s zipped-to-show perfectly a scaled QUAD graph configuration of 4 related-to-a-search stocks. Is there any way to get a recording of that entire presentation??? THX.

Would be of great value if the following databases would be available: Japan, China, South Korea, Switzerland, India, and Hong Kong.

Better Help and Support
I have several comments which I have numbered.
1. You do not offer Live Chat even which is a problem because from Austria it is costly to access your Tel Helplines.
though when you live in Austria.
2. On the tel support line of UK it says you have an online chat support facility on http://www.vectorvest.com but I cannot see this facility. All I can see is offline chat which is actually your email support.
3. Your German tel support line did not work over the weekend. Your German tel number was not working from Austria. 0049 800 184 4965…1 vote -
add a high quality Trading Journal - in a tab of it's own
A quality Trading Journal should naturally be included within VectorVest and would add a wealth of information and feedback by having the ability to analyze trades in many ways as well as understanding what is working out well in VectorVest to ultimately improve as a trader/investor.
Please review existing fee-based online Trading Journals and what they offer such as Trademetria.com, Tradersync.com, Tradervue.com and Edgewonk.com. and add a similar product with the best features into VectorVest.
Top well-known traders universally emphasize keeping a journal of trades to both succeed as a trader and continually improve, but nothing like that exists in…

Date added into a watchlist
When you add a stock into a watchlist from a search, it would be good to know the date the search found the i.e stock, and carry it into the watchlist with the stock.

Could you please add Volume at Price (sideways bar chart) as a parameter in the graphs facility.
VAP gives an indication of whereabouts in the up, down and sideways movement of a stock's price the insiders are getting seriously involved. There is free charting software that will show this, but it all involves extra work flipping in and out of VV to access it.

Watchdog Selection for Alerts
Currently, the Watchdog alerts are All-or-Nothing. Depending on the circumstances, I sometimes wish to get alerts from only 1 of 4 watchdogs I have created.
Having the ability to select for which Watchdog would we want to get alert from, would be beneficial. Thanks.1 vote -
Allow for lot selection when manually entering trades
When manually entering transactions in portfolios, allow for the selection of lots when entering a sale, not automatically use the FIFO method. FIFO method can cause a problem with reflected cost basis on remaining shares if the first purchase or lot is not the lot that was sold.

relative strength
Kind of in line with the other posts'
There are two types of relative strength that should be considered.
1) Price performance between two product's i.e. stock price to an index, SPX, Sector, another stock( i.e. INTC/AMD).
2) Absolute relative strength - stock price to itself x periods ago.
Absolut relative strength can be calculated in a multitude of way's. One being currently weekly close divided bye the weekly close 26 weeks ago. (Used by Levy and Kirkpatrick). Another use of absolute relative strength is used by IBD where it's a combined version of absolute strengths. RS = (20* (2*C/C63+C/C126+C/C189+C/C252-5).(Where…1 vote -
Line In The Sand Stop
In the Successful Investor Course, we learn to set a "Line in the Sand" -- a constant value which is given to the broker as a Stop-Market order. Under some conditions, we manually adjust the stop upward. I don't see a way in the Portfolio to set a constant value for a stop. Because I am trying to follow the Successful Investor system, this is a problem for me.

The ability to change graphs to OHLC rather than candlesticks should be on the tools/application settings/graph tab
I suggest that the ability to change graphs to OHLC rather than candlesticks be added to the tools/application settings/graph tab? I spent a lot of time quadruple checking those settings and then a 20-minute hold time for VV Support to find how to do that.

How to improve the VV website and materials by adding more women!
I think I've been over every page I think of your site.
It is well done. Congratulations. I've done my share of programming, and your site is rich and well integrated.
However, when it comes to promotional/marketing materials, you ONLY have men! They represent diverse cultures, which is good. But NO women?
Surely you realize that we trade, too. Do you have no usable testimonials from women? In this day and age, I find it appalling that you don't integrate women into your marketing.
Your staffing is a tiny bit better. I see 2 women on the education team (of…

How about a strategy that specializes in 'electric' batteries / vehicles, etc. ... and solar energy?
A description is easy. Just read the suggestion again.
