BackTesting, End date Option, Current Date
In place of up dating the end date each day. Have the option to have the program enter the current date, for all Backtest searches.

Make Portfolio Automation change with Market Timing
Once I create the Portfolio, I want VV to automatically trigger stock Buy/Sell if market condition changes. In essence my Portfolio changes should follow the same stock transactions as the Back tester. This will allow the user to automatically trigger instructions to his Broker. I would expect an alert to text with Buy/Sell activity and reason why this triggered.

Add 'pain threshold' to backtester options
the pain threshold would allow users to set a threshold for max drawdown. Once their overall portfolio had declined by x% all positions would be closed to prevent extreme losses.

Moving Average of Moving Average Crosover
This idea is three fold. One it consists of a Moving Average of a Moving Average that is adjustable. I perfer a 3 day MA of a 6 day MA but longer term MA's can be profitable. The MA of a MA is quite different from a MA of price since it is a trent of the most current price range over x-days vs the trend of a longer term price over x-days. Most web browsers allow you to find certain words or parts of words with a 'find' feature. I think this will improve the strategies sections.

Unisearches should allow for Logical Operators such as AND OR
Allow Unisearhes to include logical oeprators such as AND / OR. So when searching stocks you can select by two condiitons as in one or the other. Stocks where the 10SMA > 20SMA OR 30EMA>40EMA AND Stochastics crossover, Etc.

RealTime / Delayed WatchList Average Graph
In the current version of VectorVest 7, the WatchList Average Graph is only available on an end-of-day basis. I would like to be able to see the WatchList Average graph updated to the minute.

volume as a % of avg up to that time of day
Add the ability to calculate how much below or above the current volume is (throughout the day) vs. the average volume over a certain time span in the past up to the same point in time of the day. Example: today up to 10am a stock has traded 100k shares but the average for the last 50 days has an average volume, up to 10 am, of only 20k shares.

Parameter change type to area as a default selection
Recent nightly views presentations showed the use of right clicking on a checked parameter (i.e. RT) to change type to an area vs a line. How do you make area a saved default selection when opening subsequent graphs. Saving graph layouts does not work. When opening a new search and graphing, the change type reverts back to line v.s. area. The only way to save as an area, is to check the box of all parameters and save the layout with area selected. When you opening a new set of graphs, you must manually deselect all checked parameters to start…
