  1. VV could add a lot of value if they would have IPO watchlists by calendar year. Currently I have to look up recent IPOs from 3d party websites and then create my own IPO watchlist. This is very time consuming and when I'm busy I don't keep up with maintaining the watchlist and miss significant IPO moves.

  2. Add a ($) price change and a price percent (%) change parameter to the Market Timing Layout. Most other stock charting/graphing tools have these necessary parameters available for use. That way the strength of the VVC could be additionally.assessed.

  3. It will be much effective to sort and filter any list in .csv format. Also much easier to find stocks with price lover than value etc. .

  4. This would allow us to focus on a specific period for any active portfolio that doesn't include events such as large withdrawals, which distort the graph.

  7. With my portfolio it doesn't show a "daily $" amount of any gain or loss to my portfolio. A "daily $" amount of gain/loss seems would be easy to add and there's plenty of space for it on top by the "total value" already there.

  8. Provide the ability to import trade history for a stock into a VectorVest portfolio. Manually entering a long history is difficult. Import trade history from Quicken would be nice.

  9. Top performing unisearch trends for market timing calls, updated and available for more than 1 day and 5 day as displayed in the views. A feature I find useful over on the Motif investors site is the breakdowns of theme performance trends. See attached pdf file of image extracts

  12. Draw Tool - % Gain between dates

on any graph, have a drawing tool option that you can go from one point on the graph to another point (Like two highs) and a pop-up window will show on the graph the % Gain/Loss, $ Gain/Loss, and # of trading days between the two points. this would help in setting profit exits and stop losses set points.

  13. Nowadays Artificial Intelligence is all around is in the form of Machine Learning based techniques. These are essentially a form of 'classifier' that allows us to select a more precisely from a set of candidates using a set of weighted factors that are generated by iterative computations. Vectorvest databases already have a set of factors (e.g. Price, Value, RV, RS, RT, VST, CI, GRT etc. etc.) and it already has an engine for performing just one 'experiment' at a time - the backtesting engine. 'The Derby' is a form of real-time experimentation but it needs 'Supervision'. If the Vectorvest database…

  16. The Market Timing system is fine - but another feature (VIX) could be added to complement the existing system, For example, some of us would prefer to be out of the market if the VIX > 20; but are prepared to stay in (but add no new positions) if the VIX is < 20 but VIX > 16. That is we might think it ok to be in the market and adding new positiins if the VIX < 16. Adding the ability to complement the existing Market Timing system with programmable VIX thresholds might add value to Vectorvest users.

  17. For Closed Ended Investment Trusts of Funds an important parameter to understand before making an investment is the Discount / Premium to Net Asset Value (NAV). Buying at too high a Premium to NAV is considered a Risk. At present Vectorvest attempts to give us a "RV" score for an Investmnet Trust / Fund looking out 3 years into the future - for a collective investment with an active manager who Vectorvest has no knowledge of their future decisions. This is misleading at best. At other times Vectorvest treats a Trust or Fund in the same way as an ETF…

  19. When printing the backtest list, provide the ability to scale the list so that all columns will fit on a letter sized page in landscape orientation. Currently the Max Drawdown column wraps onto a new page, which makes it almost useless.

  20. When I want to post an improvement to VV7 I am prompted to sign in (again). When I click on that a new window opens in IE (version 11) even though my default browser is Firefox. That IE window allows me to see only about 1 1/2 of the improvement requests and it cannot be re-sized and it is not scrollable. I have attached a snippit. Please fix this bug.
