  1. Trying to get through to customer support is virtually impossible - to cancel a trial subscription or anything else. I've been on hold for literally hours today and had tried a week ago as well. When I left a callback message (twice) my call was never returned.

  2. Each portfolio should have an associated "share" price based on an arbitrary NAV for each "share" when portfolio is created. Adding or removing cash from portfolio then simply buys/sells portfolio "shares". This means that portfolio performance does not change (charts especially) when you add/remove money. %up/down is based on portfolio "share" price inc/dec from initial NAV at portfolio setup time.

    Just like ETFs measure performance.

This would also means you should add a "performance view" to the portfolio chart for the following:

    YTD
    Since inception
Since any manually input start date and end date.

This was used by the Motley…

  3. I don't like how all Closed End Funds have Industries and Sectors categorized as Market. Many are sector specific, so they can act differently than the general market.

Also don't like how all Closed End Funds have RV and RS values of 1.00 across the board. Again, they can act differently than the general market.

    Thank you.

  5. VV could add a lot of value if they would have IPO watchlists by calendar year. Currently I have to look up recent IPOs from 3d party websites and then create my own IPO watchlist. This is very time consuming and when I'm busy I don't keep up with maintaining the watchlist and miss significant IPO moves.

  6. It will be much effective to sort and filter any list in .csv format. Also much easier to find stocks with price lover than value etc. .

  7. This would allow us to focus on a specific period for any active portfolio that doesn't include events such as large withdrawals, which distort the graph.

  10. With my portfolio it doesn't show a "daily $" amount of any gain or loss to my portfolio. A "daily $" amount of gain/loss seems would be easy to add and there's plenty of space for it on top by the "total value" already there.

  11. Provide the ability to import trade history for a stock into a VectorVest portfolio. Manually entering a long history is difficult. Import trade history from Quicken would be nice.

  12. SMS Alerts for Canadian Clients using the American Market

Currently, VectorVest only allows SMS Alerts for American carriers for the American market. SMS alerts are not available for Canadian clients using the American market.

Please implement a single number through your phone/internet provider for Canadian Clients using the American Market. We currently have the ability to receive email alerts, but email alerts are not timely and are not efficient/effective when the market changes so quickly.

    Thanks so much!!

  13. Top performing unisearch trends for market timing calls, updated and available for more than 1 day and 5 day as displayed in the views. A feature I find useful over on the Motif investors site is the breakdowns of theme performance trends. See attached pdf file of image extracts

  17. Draw Tool - % Gain between dates

on any graph, have a drawing tool option that you can go from one point on the graph to another point (Like two highs) and a pop-up window will show on the graph the % Gain/Loss, $ Gain/Loss, and # of trading days between the two points. this would help in setting profit exits and stop losses set points.

  18. Nowadays Artificial Intelligence is all around is in the form of Machine Learning based techniques. These are essentially a form of 'classifier' that allows us to select a more precisely from a set of candidates using a set of weighted factors that are generated by iterative computations. Vectorvest databases already have a set of factors (e.g. Price, Value, RV, RS, RT, VST, CI, GRT etc. etc.) and it already has an engine for performing just one 'experiment' at a time - the backtesting engine. 'The Derby' is a form of real-time experimentation but it needs 'Supervision'. If the Vectorvest database…
