Add Midas Touch watch list 1996-2009 so we can backtest all the rough periods.
The Midas Touch watchlist is currently only available from 2009 to present, so we can't backtest the really rough downturns around 2000 and 2008. Please add this valuable watchlist to cover from 1996 to 2009 so we can compare it to all the other strategies during these crucial times.

more data for market timing
i would very much like to have available a minimum of 30 days intraday data for backtesting, 5 days of data is not sufficient for successful backtesting. this will allow me to stay a vectorvest customer. thank you

Under "Manage Portfolios" -"Withdraw Cash" I would like to see an Automatic Monthly Withdrawal Option. My wife and I have IRA stock accounts that we have automatic withdrawals set up every month on the same day. With Vector Vest I have to post each withdrawal every month manually.

Mergers
I ask Vectorvest to please look at the mergers and make sure that the key indicators that were already applied for the merged companies also apply for the new company.. Example TQNT and RFMD were on the top VST list and when they merged to QRVO, QRVO was off the list with a RS below 1.. This I don't agree with since the fundamentals of the older companies were intact and should have been translated automatically to the new company. I think there is a fundamental flw in Vectorvest with regards to mergers. Please fix it ...

USING THE CONFIRM UP WITH A PORTFOLIO USING STOP 25% GAIN &10% LOSS ON THE UP SIGNAL. ON THE CONFIRM DOWN USING THE SAME PORTFOLIO DON'T BUY NEW POSITIONS BUT DON'T SELL JUST TIGHTEN MY STOP TO 10% GAIN & 5% LOSS AS EXAMPLE. THANKS

I would like to create a protrader search with the 3EMA and the *EMA crossover. The only options available now in protrader are 1,4,5,9.
The 3ema and 8 ema are available on graphs but not in protrader. I would like to create a 3ema and 8ema crossover search in protrader.
Today, the 1,4,5 and 9 ema are my only choices. Can you please add the 3ema and 8ema?Thanks

Let user create moving standard deviations of major parameters (e.g. price, value ...) as new custom fields through Custom Field Builder.
For good quantitative analysis of stock performance, the moving standard deviations of major parameters (e.g. price, volume, value, earning ...) are supposed to be the basic variables, as important as the moving averages, which allow me to see the volatility of stocks. By letting user create the moving standard deviations of major parameters as new custom fields, VV7 would become a better quantitative tool.

Let user create dynamic watchlists similar to Midas Touch Stocks watchlist which is updated daily.
When I created a search with more than 20 lines, UniSearch told me that my search was too complex to run. I was then forced to break my search into 2 parts called Part-1 and Part-2. When I used the search, I had to run Part-1 first and stored the intermediate results into a temporary watchlist, and then ran Part-2 by filtering the temporary watchlist to get the final results. The problem is that the temporary watchlist I had created in VV7 cannot be dynamic similar to Midas Touch Stocks watchlist. As a result, I cannot automate any backtest by…

It would be a great printer ink saver (and leave more money for investing!) if you had your webcast slide backgrounds in white.
Your webcasts are great but in order to save pages and pages of writing, It's so helpful to do a screenshot of some of the summary or other key pages and print them off for future reference or review.
However the backgrounds are usually dark blue so they drink ink like crazy and so cost a mini-fortune to print - good portfolio money being diverted! :(
Would you please ask your folks to keep the backgrounds white (I know it's not so fancy but is that the point?)
