3. Add ability to save/restore backtest/unisearch parameters to file.

   Have the option to save backtest/unisearch parameters to file, and also the ability to restore them from this file in the future, without retyping everything from scratch.

   This will help to keep the number of current backtests to a minimum and not lose the parametrs/ideas in them.

   This will improve the performance of Vectorvest by minimising the data that needs to be sent between the clint and the server.

4. allow entering market direction filters into strategies

   You teach that is a bad idea to buy an individual stock when the markets are going down. I believe this is a good idea, but I do not see how to do this in any of the many available Unisearch searches. This lacking criteria will now allow a sold stock (due to sell criteria settings) to be replaced on a down market day. This can hurt total results if it followed by more down market days. This can be implemented if a VVC choice were settable in the Parameter field box. One could then set the price change as the Operator and percent change greater than zero as the Value. In fact if they were available one could match their up day requirement to the watch list limits-such as S&P 500, DOW 30, or Russell 2000.
   One could also use the concept to prohibit short searches from selling on up days.
   If you include this line into the chosen search, the back tester would pick replacements stocks. However, no matter how many candidates were otherwise found they would be eliminated for that day and for as many days as the selected market average was going down (or up for short searches).

7. Add 'scripting language' to VV

   I find VV a powerful platform in terms of allowing the mix of fundamentals and technicals for creating a search or a backtest.
   Unfortunately, the lack of a 'scripting language' to create more complex backtests is not available. This allows only the backtest of very basic strategies since you lack more powerful programming statements like if..then..else, switch... case.. etc. Some indicators in Protrader allow for only a selection from a list which is an unnecessary limitation.

   I would like to have a 'scripting language' capability maybe even in a well known language like C# for example. I believe this would make VV the most powerful trading platform in the market, due to the ability of building complex strategies mixing fundamentals with powerful technical analysis. It would also allow for the creation of many sophisticated indicators present in other platforms creating a continuous improvement of the VV platform. This normally happens in other trading platforms that have a scripting language in which users are constantly adding new indicators and capabilities benefitting both, people comfortable with programming and non-programmers.

8. Move Yahoo VV online users group to a Online Forum Platform

   In this day and age I find absurd that we have Yahoo user group to exchange ideas for the VV platform. This creates a lot of limitations: no support for pictures or graphics (which is key for a trading forum), difficult sorting of messages, emails on topics that I'm not interested, lack of attachments capabilities, etc,

   Yahoo user groups are inadequate, antiquate an inefficient for a trading discussion platform. Maybe 20 years ago, it would suffice, today we have many Online Forum Platforms, some free that would enable a much better exchange of ideas. Also, these online forum platforms, are accessible via the iPad or iPhone (or Android systems) via applications like Tapatalk.

   So, my feedback is that VV start using an Online Forum Platform!

12. Allow horizontal or vertical lines to be drawn outside viewable graph area

    Currently cannot move graph left/right or up/down. Would be nice in planning trades to be able to do this, then add horizontal lines or vertical lines in future and be able to rescale the graph to see all the lines together.

    Have the "Amount of Data to Include" choices under "Support Resistance Settings" pop-up window reflect the longer time frame buttons in the lower RH corner of the Graphs Tab. Specifically, include 63 bars instead of 40 to reflect a 3 month lookback, 125 bars instead of 100 to reflect 6 months, 250 bars instead of 300 to reflect 1 yr, 1250 bars instead of 1000 to reflect 5 yrs, and 2500 bars instead of 1500 and 2000 to reflect a 10 yr lookback. Also, add a 2 yr button to the preselected time frames.
