  2. There are maybe over 200 strategies in Unisearch. When these are referred to in Derby or SOTW etc., it is so frustrating and time consuming to locate them under the correct folder in Unisearch. In addition there are some strategies in Derby that do not appear to be in Unisearch. Some users have suggested either a Search button or an additional "Folder" column in Derby. I would like instead that Vector Vest prepares an Excel or pdf format table. The first column would be the Name of the Strategy, the second column, the appropriate Folder in Unisearch, the third column will…

  3. I'd like to be able to rerun a backtest after changing the underlying UniSearch. As it is, I have to make a useless change to the test, initiate a run, stop, and go back and fix it and run it again. The Run button is not enabled unless a change is made to the test.

  6. When a stock is sold, everything gets sold then is reinvested in many of the stocks that were just sold but rebalanced. This way the best performing stocks are reduced and worst performing are increased. Also, % stop losses are reset when they shouldn't be.

  8. To backtest the "Cherry Picking with CI Up and Comers" SOTW, the backtester would need to halt when the number of positions < the normal portfolio size. Cherry Picking is a GREAT method that VV does not currently support. VV would create a tremendous marketing win by publishing the incredible gains possible using the above-mentioned SOTW.

  11. On unisearch lists, viewer lists, portfolio lists, etc., add the ability to see a definition of an abbreviation when hovering over it: RV, RS, RT, VST, etc.. As a newbie, I don't remember them all, or I have to go fish.

  12. Display the current stop loss price in the stock list grid for stocks in a portfolio. For example, I have a portfolio set up with trailing stops. In the stock list displayed for that portfolio I need a calculator to calculate my stop loss price if I remember what percentage I put in. So also display on the list the stop loss percent.. If I display a chart for that stock, indicate my purchase price, trailing stop, and target price on the chart.

It would also be useful to be able to set different trailing stop percentages for different stocks.…

  14. Since we can only print all of our backtests it would be nice to see what market timing was used for each test. Currently this market timing column does not show up when printing.

  17. Auto tester should reflect the so common amount of target % gain + %trailing stop. For instance take profit at 20% but trailing stop at 10

  19. 2 requests for UniSearch:
(1.) the parameter "Stock RT" has "Trending" as one of its operators.
I'd like to have the parameter "Stock 10 day MA(RT)" ALSO

includes "Trending" as one of its operators.
(2.) the parameter "stock price (split adjusted)" has "ProTrader"
as one of its operators. I'd like to have the parameter
"stock RT (Relative Timing)" ALSO includes "ProTrader"
    as one of its operators.

  20. Modifying the candlestick search categories to include bullish and bearish candlestick "kicker" signals would be of great benefit. A 'kicker signal can occur anywhere in the price pattern and represents a complete reversal of sentiment (bullish or bearish) for a given stock
