Add automatic cash withdrawal option to Backtests
I was thinking it would be great to add into the Backtester an option to have it withdraw cash at whatever frequency you like. Maybe it could include whether it would be a specific percentage of profits each time or a fixed amount.

Add the Market Timing Gauge reading as a search parameter
If I want to build a short or long search and backtest it, obviously I would not want to short into an up call, nor would I wish to be long during a down call. could there be a way to essentially filter out picks when the scan is opposite the market direction? It would be critical during longer term backtests.

Do you ever have oridnary people check out just how damn hard it is to log on to your site?
When a member tried to log on, do not hit them with a lot of irrelevant promotional garbage. You really infuriate me.

Have two reports obe indepth,another summary format
vector vest should have two formats,one totally indepth for folks who have plenty of time, and another summary format for people who do not have hours to dig into. Each one can pick their selections. I want to know which are the hottest stocks for now,depending upon theM&A,quarterly forecast, any law suits or any bankruptcies 3/29/12

My Feedback
I just found VV in Aug 2011, when I first wanted to get into learning trading stocks. VV's ongoing webinars has helped me learn the market basics and has taught me the correct way to analyse and trade. The Market timing graph and entire MT system, plus Views helps me know what to do. I swear by the searches and the top rated VV Stock list. And so on and so on. I've been mostly studying it all and papertrading since August, while coming up with some more capital. Post a marker on the portfolio graph as to when a security was posted to get a sense of when direction may have changed.

In display of portfolios both personal and vv. add a horizontal reflecting purchase price of stocks.
in my current trading platform, If I bring up a position There is a horizontal line reflecting the price paid for the position . Further, by placing a curser directly over this line it displays the number of shares bought and the price/cost. This provides a quick view of graph in relation to the price paid. This would be applicable to personal and vv portfolios. This function could be set to on or off.

Back test covered call strategies
Vector Vest promotes covered call strategies a lot. I trade covered calls a lot but there is no way that I have found to back test a covered call strategy. Does VV have any plans to incorporate back testing for covered calls or collars?

In order to work properly with Internet Explorer 9, VectorVest has automatically updated your browser settings.
You must close and re-open Internet Explorer for these settings to take effect.
