Create a better VV Views Gadget
Make more visually appealing - Text formatting should be better. The rest of VV7 is color rich and visually appealing. However, the VV Views gadget is plain text. There should be a more visually appealing way to show the advice for Prud & Agg investors and the status of the model portfolios.

Give (Yes/No) option for E-Mail notification in Portfolio Automation.
I Run a few Test Portfolios in real time with auto closeout stop positions and auto replacement. In the course of a day I sometimes generate large numbers of email notifications that bog down my emai account. I like the notifications for my active Portfolios but i realy don't need them for test Portfolios.

include important SEC filings in Stock Details
Place SEC filings (10K, 10Q, etc.) in the Vector Vest database, and make them possible to incorporate in strategy creation

Sortable portfolio columns
Currently, I believe, the portfolio list is sorted by name and can not be changed to sort on say ROI or purchase date (or any other) by clicking on the header.

Factor next-day (official) reports into VV Views
Official reports being released the next day (e.g. employment, CSI, etc.) often have a pre-release consensus as to what the numbers might be. These reports should be mentioned in the strategy section of the daily Vector Vest Views so we have a more information for our next-day strategy.

Show how many shares traded at a given price over a day, wk, or month. I have never seen this data.
This would be helpful to predict when resistance will form.

To find: Over X period of time- the stock- has outperformed its inductry, the vvc, the SP-500 (etc.)

Backtest Graph - shown as it would have appeared on a given date, automatically.
When I run a search for backtesting purposes, it would be helpful if the graph would default to that specific date. Example - run a search for stocks on 1/3/07 - graph should appear as it would have on 1/3/07 not as of today's date.

Bars(x) Stop in Portfolio Manager
I would love to see a bars(x) stop put under the stop criteria in the Portfolio Manager. This would allow an automated stop based on a specified number of days.

allow the price box to be modified in the graph feature
this would allow me to see the reset stops and buy /sell signals. I could set the price to the value,and see all relevant ratios.

Default Graph Layouts for Stocks, Industries, Sectors
Default Graphs for Stocks, Industries, Sectors should be segregated and different. These categories have different fields. Examples: 1- RT Ranking is a field in Industry Graphs but not Stock Graphs. 2- Stocks have an Industry Group field but Industry Graphs does not. Currently it is not possible to setup default graphs where the categories have different fields.

add a field for shares float
The number of shares of a corporation that are outstanding and available for trading by the public, excluding insiders or restricted stock on a when-issued basis. A stock's volatility is inversely correlated to its float.

Create a standard and advanced workflow option
Create two interfaces; one for less experienced investors with a simplified workflow and an advanced one that opens up all the options we currently have. (Since we already have the advanced version, we need only create a simplified version.) Since we sometimes get feedback from customers saying that our interface is too complex, this could address that issue as well as luring less experienced investors who aren't currently customers. The simplified version could include a wizard that will help the user define what type of investor they are and with that information, suggest possible strategies that fit with the identified…

Add a stop for Rec=B on long positions
There is no =B stop criteria in the portfolio manager when setting on a long purchase. When bottom fishing with all Sell reconditions, you should be able to put a stop at =B to sell off those stocks.
