The Buffett Indicator
The indicator itself is quite easy: total market capitalisation of all US stocks divided by the latest gross domestic product (GDP). It could be applied to the other Vectorvest databases like the EU.

VV should allow users to save a stock to a a watchlist directly from the graph viewer
VV should allow users to save a stock directly from the graph viewer. As of now I find that using VV and saving after viewing the the graph is extremely labour intensive

Improvement of stop criteria (RT)
Right now your stop criteria for RT is set to a firm "<" criteria. The problem is that this assumes that everyone using VV is trend trading. But, if I want to use Low/High swing trading, then it could be valuable to set RT criteria to STOP when it is ">=" x.
For example, if I want to buy a stock when the RT is low (maybe crossing above 1) and then sell it when RT reaches 1.10. That would be a very useful stop.
so really, the user should be able to set whether they want > or <…

Intraday of stock movement continously by the system and alert traders of its movement
I like to see a continous monitoring of stocks movement through out the day and the system can give me an alert of certain stock start making its move once there are some news released by the stock's company. If I know it early, then I can enter a trade at the early time and riding it up!!Currently the system only search the search criteria only when you run the search and have no alert available.

Industry distortion due to 1 high priced thinly traded stock
This seems cuckoo: On 9/28/2015 the market was down, but the REIT (Mortgage) Industry was up solely because of 1 stock, DVLN ($5,480/share) had a trade volume of 3 shares, up $180! 95% of the REIT (Mortgage) stocks were down, yet astonishingly the entire Industry was up because DVLN's price change ($ Change) was up $180 and it exceeded the total price changes of all 59 stocks in this Industry. This is nuts! Why should 1 stock, thinly traded & over priced, have so much influence over an entire industry? It is a distortion of the Industry. Is there a…

Add volatily, or perhaps the option of all the greeks, and the weeklies to the standard VV columns as an additional choice
Add a toggle to allow the display of at least volatility and, even better, all the greeks to the standard column choices for VV. This will allow for quicker and easier option evaluation without having to go back and forth to the option pricer. Trading options in real time does not allow for lots of wasted time doing the calculations even in a standard pricing tool. Also, for active option traders, the weeklies are more important than the monthlies. Having the weekly expiration dates in both the column selections and the pricing tool would be very helpful instead of just…

A BIT HONESTY AND LEVEL PLAYING FOR ALL CUSTOMERS
Please provide consistent and sustainable analysis and not changing over night.
If the analysis is right then it should stay for a month and not changing regularly.
Your Strong Buy Signals can not be Sell next day.
If your recommendations are for day traders only - that is okay. But do not entice the long term investors. Probably in USA it is not a rule, but in Australian tax rule says for investors 12 months holding is required to avoid capital gain taxes. In Australia for day traders or Self Managed funds this does not apply. But Vector Vest does…1 vote -

Portfolio Challenge/Competition Button
Competitions are often provided by VectorVest to stimulate the use of the automated trading feature.
A Challenge/Competition Button would allow a individual or group to stage a Challenge. The administration of that challenge is automatic. By eliminating the administration work to eliminate cheating the new system is designed to encourage the development of automated trading plans with predetermined stop losses.
1. Create a backtest using either a new portfolio or existing trading system.
2. Click the Convert Button
3. New Feature area in the "Create Portfolio from Backtest" screen.
Add a Portfolio Challenge/Competition Button choice.
The choice would be between…1 vote -

Flag a stock while scanning graphs.
Graphing and scanning stocks is essential. Need the ability to quickly and easily flag or add to a watch-list before moving on to the next stock graph.
VectorVest should add a checkbox that can be tic'd that adds the stock to a default watchlist.

Moving Average of Price for Stops Criteria
Moving Averages of a stock's price are universally used by traders. Can VectorVest incorporate custom Moving Averages into the Stop Criteria? For example, I'd like to be Stopped out if price falls below its 10 ma of price.

Seasonality Graph
It would be very helpful if VectorVest would create a Seasonality Graph for each Industry and each Stock in the VectorVest system. Since you already have at least 10 years of data, programming this should be fairly easy to do.

Back Test that uses timing signals to select stocks
At this moment it appears that there is no way to run a backtest that will start with only a cash position and select stocks based on a specific timing signal.
Customer support tells me that I have run a back test using a set of stocks and enter trades myself.
Moreover I cannot seem to be able to identify which stocks would have been chosen when a timing signal criteria was satisfied.
