I like the following suggestion:
can you install the UNISEARCH tool in the backtester - Automation Rules - Stop Criteria, so that I have a lot of more possibilities in the backtester.for example: I want that the backtester sells the stock in the portfolio, if the MA stock price 20 days is becoming under the MA stock price of 50 days.
thank in advance for putting this in your software updating.

Stock mini-graph as a column
A mini chart as a column. It would be a simple line graph of the stock's closing price showing performance for a period of 3 months, 6 months or 1 year. This would eliminate the need to leave a watchlist to see a stock's performance, unless the mini graph revealed a price trend that was of interest to you.

Watchdog MACD crossovers
The current watchdog settings for MACD crossovers seem to catch only long term trending, there is not an explanation of how the MACD crossovers trigger(level) the alert. I trade an ETF that I am looking for small daily crossovers. On any graph screen including VV7 or brokerage these crosses show up with daily or two day\5 minute setting, while they are small these crosses with the use of the stochastic, Momentum or RT value can be used for daily trades. it would be nice to have control to set trigger levels or a series of if MACD crosses x then…

Add S&P Earnings from "Climate Graph" to timing systems.
Add VV earnings from "Climate" to timing systems. An example of how this would be used is, the Genius would enable hedging on a C/dn when VV Earnings are below 1.

VectorVest Real Time needs a real time volume assessment tool.
VV provides the %Vol for each stock that compares the EOD volume for that stock to its 50 day moving average of volume but this is strictly an EOD value. Real-Time needs its equivalent. I call it the VIVA , which stands for Virtual Intraday Volume Assessment.. This would be a new field, for Real Time users only, that tracked that fraction of the 50 day SMA for each stock according to the fraction of the trading day that had passed up to that time. Security: Show last logged in date/time and IP on login
it would definitely keep my confidence if I could see my IP and date/time of time ive last logged into vectorvest every time I log in. I'd like to be sure that no-one is secretly accessing my account while I'm offline and it would allow people to report such situations to VV as soon as they happen (or rather, as soon as the person hacked notices it). This could potentially stop some drama before it happens.

When you receive an alert, it would be nice to have a link to the chart of that company
When you receive an alert via email, it would be nice to have a link to the stock chart. When you read an alert within the Vectorvest environment, when you right click on the ticker symbol you can have the option to open the stock graph (you can have other options as well, the same options as when you right click on a stock in a watchlist)

I would like to see an indication that todays data is available when I click on the Vectorvest 7 icon. this will save numerous log-ons
Make Vestor Vest 7 a different color IF todays data is available when we click on the V V Icon. would save a lot of unnecessary log-ons. Regards, michael34

I agree with all trailing stop advocates...it is a needed option.
Instead of giving fixed hard stops only in the Analysis, I suggest converting hard stops to a % of purchase price also to allow for a "trailing stop" option also. It would be faster and more convenient as currently it takes time to individually calculate "hard stops to % trailing stops".
Thats what I do currently with Vectorvest stop prices.

Include Compounded Rate of Return and Annual Rate of Return as a calculated category in Portfolio Manager for each stock.

Backtester and Genius need to have an option to protect profits.
For example, say the criteria is 50% profit & 10% loss and you have unrealized 40% profit. There should be an automatic method to trigger a sale to protect the profits before incurring 10% loss during a downturn. Perhaps a option to sell when 50% of the gain is lost or a trigger based on Moving Average Stop.
I discussed in Tampa with Dr DiLiddo and he agreed this should be an option.

Could an "Acid Test" 50/150 day EMA search be created in Unisearch?
Dr. DiLiddo discusses his acid test (50/150) EMA for deciding to buy a stock after it has dropped; I cannot find a Unisearch tool using those parameters. Unless I am overlooking it, could you consider adding that search. Thanks. John Elliott

Allow full access to VectorVest 7 online whithout having to download anything to our computer.
My employer doesn't allow its employees to download anything to their computers. Consequently, I cannot access the full version of Vector Vest 7 while at work between 9-5. I would like for you to upgrade your website in such a way that your users could simply log on to your website and access the full version (as well as our saved searches).
