  1. When back testing a strategy, VV is now recommending the top 5 stocks for incredible returns. By changing the Derby to represent the top 5 stocks, this will provide faster visibility for all the Derby options: Day Trading, Buy and Hold, Vary the Start Date, etc.

  2. I would like to see the dollar gain/loss for the day and the portfolio in addition to the %s. I would also like to be able to enter an actual dollar/share value for each stock position rather than a model rule. This is most helpful in managing profits ie not loosing more than 1/2 my profit after I have experienced a significant gain in a position.

  4. Offer the Color Guard as a visual "Timing" tool. Run the color guard on a "History" type scrolling. Maybe have each page show the last 6 months or 12 months or even 3 months. Something large enough that one could see the call "up" and call "down" trends earlier as they begin to develop.

  5. UK Regulators require that only a licenced individual can give a "recommendation". At user group meetings, no licenced individual is present.

    To comply with Law , change the word "Recommendation" to "Rating" and "REC" to "RAT" throughout the program.

  6. I use the VV Portfolio Tracker to test different kinds of portfolios. Each day VV gives me advice under the VV Strategy session. Tonight it was "Prudent Investors should only buy stocks long if the market is rising." It would be nice if I could give the Portfolio buying directions such as "Buy the following @ 10 am if market is rising." That way I could follow the advice of the VV Strategy session and get full value for the money I'm paying. Is that difficult to do?

  7. Although log is checked in graph settings charts come up as arithmetic and when log button is selected on a chart the setting is not retained after the chart has been viewed a few times.

    This is an irritating bug.

  8. Australian dividends displayed do not take into account tax imputation credits which are available for many Australian stocks. This omission distorts the otherwise excellent ratings.

  10. For variables (like Moving Averages, VST, RT, etc) that are calculated for each bar (hour, day, week, etc.) define MAX(Variable, N) and MIN(Variable, n) functions (maximum of minimum of the "Variable" in the past "n" periods) that can be used in UniSearch criteria. A market should be optionally shown in the chart.

    This is a generalization of putting the 52-week high/low on the chart.

    This would allow a UniSearch for sticks meeting Dr DiLiddo's "Midas Touch" analysis as follows:

    If RT > MAX (RT,90) and
    MA(10) => Max (MA(10),90) and
    MA(40) => MAX(MA(40),90) and
    MA(10) > MA(40),
    then select stock.

  11. When building custom field, allow day specific parameters (such as price, volume) to be used in the formula. Example: UniSearch 'Small Fry', ability to define a custom field based on current-actual-price divided by original-date/time-price. The original-date/time-price is an existing field in the displayed result already.

  13. The new Options Pro program is impressive! However, the tutorial emphasizes how much skill and experience options entail. To help newcomers such as me in this process, can you tweak the program a bit more so that Unisearch would simply list the top options plays for each kind of trade? For example, on a debit spread, scanning risk-profit graphs and selecting only those with a high slope would eliminate a lot of work. Do this with adjusting expiration dates and different strike prices as well, so an experienced hand is leading the way, and I then would be confident to…

  16. To view all pertinent information from a smart phone's banner alert that a new sms message has arrived, the sms needs to be very concise so that all info is viewable immediately. There is no need to include a subject because It uses 5 characters + the portfolio name, which shoves the most important information off the viewable banner.

  17. I set up a watch list of stocks approaching Ex-dividend date and use the Watchdog to provide an alert when one of these begins to make an upward move. That way my dividend play is only on up-trending stocks which then tends to overcome the downward price adjustment that happens on Ex-dividend date.

    Now I have to individually enter the stock symbol from the Dividend Viewer selection one-by-one. It would be great if I could select them all and add them to my watchlist with one click. Even better, if I could use the symbols list in the Dividend Viewer…
