1. I just sold 500 shares of a stock that had 3 different purchase dates. VV will not permit me to select lots and dates of purchase.

   I just sold 500 shares of a stock with 3 different purchase dates. VV will not let me select the lots with the purchase dates I wanted to sell. Now my tax report is wrong as well as my cost basis of the remaining shares. A deficiency in the program. VV does a lot of great things, but it doesn't permit one to selects lots for sale. Can't this be solved?

2. Multi stop criteria in Backtester

   Can we please add the ability to use more than 1 stop criteria in Backtester. For eg, you can select 3 separate stop loss criteria in Backtester and whichever is first triggered on a particular day is the stop loss criteria that would be actioned on a particular stock. Thanks

   Can we add into Backtester a stop functionality whereby a stop is triggered when a Stock's Price (low, high, open or close as selected by the user) crosses above/below (as selected by the user) a Moving Average (EMA, MA etc as selected by the user) please?

7. Protrader update,

   TECHNICALS IN PLAIN VIEW:: An Example would be if the RSI says its oversold than say “oversold” on the RSI (with words) or a gauge right next to it would be awesome.

   PROTRADER:: Needs an update BAD, it's too simplistic, you should be able to type in specifics like MACD is trending up/down.

   WATCH DOG:: Needs to be integrated with a simultaneously searching Uni-Search.

   Android App:: Without this app, it really makes me want to search for other trading platforms.

   PRICE ALERTS: like trend line alerts, or plain price alerts (This is w/ the watchdog in mind)

   No BETA Really?

   SHOW ALL OF THE STOCKS:: At least have VectorVest query all of the stocks, and say something like “VectorVest does not support this stock” for the stocks that aren’t queried. Foreign??

   STOCK TABLE ON THE CHART:: It would be nice to have the stock table on the same stock chart

   STOCK REPLAY SIMULATOR:: Which is more specific than a BackTest, that is for Daytrading and Swing Trading.

   PAPER TRADING:: Better paper trading platform. So you can practice!

   CODING OPTION:: So you can program your own rules.

   BROKER INTEGRATION:: So you could manually or automatically manage you positions. HUGE

   A CHEAPER PRICE POINT: The platform is a little pricey.

11. New search requested " All time high within last 30 days".

    I request a new search " All time high within last 30 days". Currently VV only has "52 week high" and search results contain too many stocks, and too much "noise" and only work "on the day". This new search is designed to be run monthly and pin-point stocks that have been consistently rising in price, are above IPO price and hence have no "disappointed purschasers" to quote the good Doctor.

12. It would be good to have the Genius system under portfolio's issue an alert when the timing indicator required to invest changes.

    It would be nice if the Genius system under portfolio's issues an alert when the timing indicator (Confirmed Call) changes. I was fully invested when C/Up changed to C/Dn and the portfolio alerts indicated that there was nothing to report throughout.

    but then VV did not publish Back Test settings for Glamour Stocks .. unfortunate that very often VV does not publish BT settings .. creating one’s own BT settings is fraught with danger .. a small change from the default can result in huge changes .. submitted by Roy Stewart
