Add a Comment Field to individual stocks.
There are currently comment fields for subdirectories in Watchlists, where you describe how the group of stocks were selected.
But there needs to be a comment field for EACH stock - this would explain Why selected, your exit point, your completed analysis (eg Midas, DEW), and other items from your trading plan.
This way, when a stock is successful, you can look back at how and why it was selected, and LEARN from it.
It would save having to keep manual paper records.3 votes -
My current account makes me wait until the funds have cleared from a sale. Can this be added to backtester?
My current account makes me wait until the funds have cleared from a sale. Can this be added to backtester? It usually takes 5 business days for the funds to settle. It could have a range if someone wanted to use this as an option.

By creating a Manual for Custom Field Builder
I'd like to see a manual where the Custom Field Builder is explained. Shows: How it works; Best practices for for creating fields; Examples; etc. And what added features, if any, do the various "add ons" (eg. ProTrader) bring to the CFB.

Derby - Change From Top 10 Stocks to Top 5 Stocks
When back testing a strategy, VV is now recommending the top 5 stocks for incredible returns. By changing the Derby to represent the top 5 stocks, this will provide faster visibility for all the Derby options: Day Trading, Buy and Hold, Vary the Start Date, etc.

Genius/Portfolio
I would like to see the dollar gain/loss for the day and the portfolio in addition to the %s. I would also like to be able to enter an actual dollar/share value for each stock position rather than a model rule. This is most helpful in managing profits ie not loosing more than 1/2 my profit after I have experienced a significant gain in a position.

How about a "History" VIEW of the daily color guard. Not just a 2 week view, but a continueous view of the color guard just by scrolling.
Offer the Color Guard as a visual "Timing" tool. Run the color guard on a "History" type scrolling. Maybe have each page show the last 6 months or 12 months or even 3 months. Something large enough that one could see the call "up" and call "down" trends earlier as they begin to develop.

The word "recommendation"
UK Regulators require that only a licenced individual can give a "recommendation". At user group meetings, no licenced individual is present.
To comply with Law , change the word "Recommendation" to "Rating" and "REC" to "RAT" throughout the program.

Make it possible to place orders in portfolio to coincide with Daily strategy advice: "Prudent Investors should only buy stocks long if the
I use the VV Portfolio Tracker to test different kinds of portfolios. Each day VV gives me advice under the VV Strategy session. Tonight it was "Prudent Investors should only buy stocks long if the market is rising." It would be nice if I could give the Portfolio buying directions such as "Buy the following @ 10 am if market is rising." That way I could follow the advice of the VV Strategy session and get full value for the money I'm paying. Is that difficult to do?

Log setting is not retained
Although log is checked in graph settings charts come up as arithmetic and when log button is selected on a chart the setting is not retained after the chart has been viewed a few times.
This is an irritating bug.

Include imputation Credits in dividend etc calculations in Australian stocks
Australian dividends displayed do not take into account tax imputation credits which are available for many Australian stocks. This omission distorts the otherwise excellent ratings.

Add a High or Low for the past N periods for Price, Moving Averages, RT, VST, etc
For variables (like Moving Averages, VST, RT, etc) that are calculated for each bar (hour, day, week, etc.) define MAX(Variable, N) and MIN(Variable, n) functions (maximum of minimum of the "Variable" in the past "n" periods) that can be used in UniSearch criteria. A market should be optionally shown in the chart.
This is a generalization of putting the 52-week high/low on the chart.
This would allow a UniSearch for sticks meeting Dr DiLiddo's "Midas Touch" analysis as follows:
If RT > MAX (RT,90) and
MA(10) => Max (MA(10),90) and
MA(40) => MAX(MA(40),90) and
MA(10) > MA(40),
then select stock.2 votes -
Custom Field Builder to allow day specific parameters
When building custom field, allow day specific parameters (such as price, volume) to be used in the formula. Example: UniSearch 'Small Fry', ability to define a custom field based on current-actual-price divided by original-date/time-price. The original-date/time-price is an existing field in the displayed result already.

Options Pro (impressive!): Can you automate the selection process so we are given a few top choices for each type?
The new Options Pro program is impressive! However, the tutorial emphasizes how much skill and experience options entail. To help newcomers such as me in this process, can you tweak the program a bit more so that Unisearch would simply list the top options plays for each kind of trade? For example, on a debit spread, scanning risk-profit graphs and selecting only those with a high slope would eliminate a lot of work. Do this with adjusting expiration dates and different strike prices as well, so an experienced hand is leading the way, and I then would be confident to…

add "net change" or "total gain/loss" column to genius
net change is not readily readable from portfolio graph depending on color of graph. it will be more effective for all relevant information displayed in one line.
